on 7/21/17 3:19 am - GTA, Ontario, Canada
Happy Friday everyone! How are you all? I am great! Photo Friday - post a pic of your fav shoes! Who has great fun plans this weekend? We have a 1 yr old bday party tomorrow and tons of running around to do before we leave for vacation next Friday! Hubby and I are going to spend a week with JB & Grim
Accountability - stayed on plan yesterday
QOTD: Who told you about OH? Did you create an account pre op or post op? My Centre only vaguely mentioned it at my Orientation and it was one of a list of websites they recommended to check out on the back of their handout, it was not really pushed. I read a lot on here before I had surgery but only a month or two before I had surgery and then actually joined about 3 months post surgery. I think one of my first posts was on the Menu thread that DCGirl (hello beautiful ) used to start daily.

My Fav shoes pic: ok this was hard to pic just one pair, I don't have a lot of shoes, I am pretty boring and well frankly cheap and don't spend lots of money on shoes or clothes... so I do have a fav pair of black high heels and a fav pair of Tom's wedges but ultimately what is on my feet almost 24/7 are my running shoes, I LOVE my Saucony's, so here is a pic of my shoes this morning. These ones are 2 yrs old and are done but I have a brand new pair in the box of the exact same shoes that I will be bringing out soon! Let's see your fav shoes!

Morning DD2! 1 more week!
QOTD: I didn't join until I was postop. I was actually very close to goal. I hadn't really been too worried about the surgery, or losing weight. Losing was always easy. It was the maintenance that scared the bejeebus out of me. And rightfully so. It was Laura from Texas that actually got me to OH. I was posting fairly regularly on the WLS groups at MFP, but there are very few posts. She would pop in now and then, and she told me about this joint. So really, anyone that isn't happy with me, blame her.
I know I have posted this before, but it is my favorite shoe picture.
6'3" tall, male.
Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

Love this! I don't think the differential between DH and my shoes is quite as great, but it is fairly noteworthy (he is 6'3", I am 5'3").

We took in a third kitten (one of their brothers) for the week. Lemmie tell ya--2 kittens is definitely my limit. I'm exhausted. Please come get one. Preferably before bedtime tonight...

Good Morning! I can't believe I finally made it through this week. Presentations are done (!!) so today I need to go through about 1500 unread emails from the week and make a plan for all the zillions of things I have ignored since Monday. I am really looking forward to this weekend! We have some houseguests coming next weekend , so I think we should probably do some cleaning, but other than that, just chillin'.
Here is a pic of some of my favorite shoes. I love them because I wear kid's sized shoes so it is really almost impossible to find something cute and "grown up" when I want to be fancy.
Accountability: Yesterday was even busier than the day before so eating just never really made it into the day. I ate the insides of a falafel wrap for lunch and that was it. I didn't end up going out with the girls, so I came home and had two pieces of Swiss cheese and a Chomps Meat stick. #gourmet. I ended the day around 650 calories / 60 protein / 45 carbs, I think. Thankfully I was rewarded with another small loss and I am back to the top of my comfort range for the first time in a week. Phew!
QOTD: 10 years ago I was diagnosed with PCOS and I was doing some internet research and stumbled on OH where I learned that WLS was really the only way I was going to lose weight.
2 years post op / 118lbs today / trying to lose 3lbs before 8.11.17!
B: Egg & Bacon; Chai Protein Coffee
S: Greek Yogurt
L: Green Salad with shredded chicken & roast beef
D: ?? No plan, yet.
