What's on your Menu today (Thursday) RNYers?
Another humid scorcher in Illinois and it's already 82 at 730 am. Lily and I have our 3.5 miles in already. We will probably not get our evening walk in as we'll be out of town until late. Depending on how late we may try to go around the block if it's not too dark out tonight. QOTD no never. I have no artistic or imaginative bones in my body and zero talent there. Post op 4 years 10.5 months and weight at 118.4 today so headed back down again. Accountability was good and I ate nothing unplanned last night. Here's the food plan for maintenance today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz deli turkey and cheese 1/2 c Cole slaw D some kind of protein as we'll be eating out S sm apple with peanut butter. Have a great day everyone and make some smart and conscious choices that move you one step closer to your goals! We've got this.
Up another half pound this morning. WTH?? I'm pretty sure it's backup. I took some MOM last night. Nothing yet. Will try again tonight if nothing happens. I've been feeling like a stuffed sausage for the last couple of days. This is awful!!
Two meals out today (with friends). Not a good thing when I'm trying to deal with this. At least the place tonight has chili and a soup on the menu. I'll go with one of those (probably chili - more filling). Not sure where I'm going to lunch, but I'm going to suggest a place that has similar things. On Saturday I'm off to Colorado for a few days to visit relatives. I hope I'm able to stay on track fairly well there - I do NOT need to be doing any extra eating right now! I'm a couple pounds above my comfort range - this needs to come off ASAP!!

B: homemade Greek yogurt, blueberries
S: coffee with half & half, mango protein shake
L: ?? something safe. I'll make a restaurant suggestion rather than waiting for my friend to do it - safer that way!
D: I'm deciding right now - chili!

Morning all!
Quiet day at home today. Keeping it low key this week where I can because swimming lessons are next week, every day, an hour away from us. Urg.
QOTD- I do not see things much like that, but my oldest child does, lol.
Accountability- Did...fair. Substituted another breakfast because we were out of salsa, so I roasted some veg and had over easy eggs with that. I ate a couple of graham crackers in the car. Got hungry when we were out running around and we were out of almonds. Yes, yes, hunger is not an emergency. I'm not happy with myself about it.
Food today, 10 months out-
Breakfast- the southwestern scrambled eggs I didn't have yesterday, picked up some salsa.
Lunch- Texas beef taco bowl. Yummy. Shredded roast cooked in the crockpot with texmexness, serve on top of shredded cabbage, tomato, avocado, pepitas.
Dinner- Creole shrimp and sausage, salad.
I think I'm going to pick up some more yogurts again. I don't eat those much anymore. But I feel like I need just a little something in the afternoon. When I have grazing issues and/or get hungry, that's when it happens. If I eat very much of anything though, I'm not hungry at dinner at all, which is annoying.

Good morning! I have a Dr appt this morning at 9, so I'm be going into the office late. I still got up before 5! It's just what I do... I have my cup of coffee and I'm watching the news. There is work luncheon today honoring Probation Week where the Chief actually serves us all lunch, haha...it's a good time. Going to see my dad after work and take him to dinner, looking forward to seeing him!
Accountability - Got home really late last night so I had egg salad instead of chicken for dinner
QOTD - I have seen the weirdest things in patterns... I had this linoleum flooring in a house a few years ago that I used to see really a creepy clown, a dolphin and Patrick from SpongeBob every few feet. I occasionally see that stuff, I notice the front of cars a lot and totally see faces.

We must be wired the same way! I see the same things in linoleum floors like that all the time. And I refuse to buy a car until I stare at it head on to see if it has a "nice face".
