What's on your Menu today (Wednesday) RNYers?
Good morning everyone! Things progress well and I'm slowly incorporating more exercise.
Accountability - I keep eating a handful of nuts and a few this and thats at night. I've got to stop that, but thankfully it is all within profile and no more than 100 or 150 calories. But I know I don't need it, so it must end ;)
QOTD - I'm up at 3:45 MWF to go swimming and the pool I workout at has giant windows, so yes I see the sunrise on those days. It is really beautiful. Though I don't always look outside to see the sunset, but I can see it through my shades.
B - 4oz Fage 0% plain; 2 tbs pumpkin seeds; high protein cereal 1/4 cup
S - Eggwhites from 2 hardboiled eggs
L - small salad with mustard for dressing; 3.3 oz grilled chicken
S - Syntrax Ice Tea shake
D - small salad with mustard dressing; Chicken pub burger
S - popsicle SF

The nuts tend to creep in volume for me over time (I eat a small amount the first day, then more the next day and so on), so I've stopped having them in the house.

What a beautiful sunrise, has to make the commute a little bit easier. Personally I see more sunsets and sunrises. Love going to the beach to see them.
How am I? I am freed from my brace. So excited. The doctor totally Doc geeked out me describing how perfectly my surgery went. Which is always good to hear. On the first follow-up I saw the PA he was not nearly as excited. And the doctor also said all my pre-surgery working out like a beast - exercise and weight lifting including bringing resistance bands to France, because the exercise physiologist said 10 days off was too long and the surgeon concurred... was paying off because I was ahead of The curve in terms of recovery.
Took my maiden voyage trying to drive post six weeks of being in a brace. PT guy said I needed to be able to put my arms over the top of the steering wheel turning, which I was able to do but honestly wasn't easy. Ended up in the Walmart parking lot which was like playing a game of whack a mole, who is going to jump in front of the car or pull out of the space without looking. I survived but realize I need to take it slow because my arm just isn't used to moving in all directions. Sore today.

D: steak w/mushrooms and onions, spinach
