Hi everyone! It's humpday- yay! I'm going into work late, have to take the dog to the vet. I'm still relaxing in bed, but will take advantage and do a different fitness class today (kickbox cardio).

Accountabilty: I've been doing well with my goal of keeping carbs at ~55g. My calories have been lower lately too, not trying on that front but I'll run with it. I decided my next goal after Labor Day will be to try 1 new recipe a week. Not sure what my fitness goal will be, but I'm toying with some options.

Qotd: I rarely see the sunrise or set- when I'm on vacation (next week woohoo) I make point to watch a sunrise. The sunset isn't as intriguing to me for some reason.

194 today, 26 months out

m1: random left overs: red snapper/oxtail and a slice of toast

m2: Greek yogurt and berries

m3: bourbon chicken chunks

m4: spaghetti for family, meat sauce and ricotta for me

I always love when you talk about your goal setting. You inspire me! I am working on figuring out some short term goals for myself. Thanks for sharing.

Morning!

urg, sleepy.

QOTD- I do usually see the sunrise. One whole wall of my living room is glass, and faces east. The chair I sit in and hve my morning coffee faces these windows. But this time of year the view is thick with trees and the sunrise is barely visible. It's awesome in the winter though. :) Sunset right now usually happens while I am getting kids to bed.

accountability- another good day yesterday. Survived the bowling alley unscathed. :)

food today, 10 months out

B- southwestern scrambled eggs, avocado

L- chicken salad, a peach- I didn't eat one yesterday because I forgot to pack it.

D- pork chops picatta, salad

Thank you! most of the rooms have the same thing going on. Lots and lots of glass, lol. We bought it last year and it was built in the 70s. Lots of dark paneling and an orange kitchen. :) But we are slowly fixing it up, and the windows are my favorite thing.

I'd love a house with windows like that. I'd paint everything else light colors.

thanks! Sugarless gum really did help. Just having that extra step between me and a handful of my kids' fries makes it a more conscious decision to cheat.
