Thanks I do feel better. Only ate a total of a container yogurt and lots of water today. Think I even might be a little hungry!

I have always been more of a night owl, so have seen many more sunsets than sunrises. Following surgery my sleep schedule was completely messed up, but it seems to have stabilized, thank goodness. I usually wake up at 5-ish, but after a bit I fall back asleep until 8 or so. I love sunrises, they are so pure and optimistic! Sunsets are more my natural terrain, though. I see sunsets as mysterious and perfect.

I am one month and one week past surgery today! Though I was told I can have three two-ounce meals, I have yet to find myself able to have that much, and have been keeping meals to 1.5 oz., sharing a bit of each meal with the cats. My restriction is such that that really is plenty!

First: Cinnamon Buns PP

B: 1.5 oz Buddig ham with cheddar, warmed

L: 1.5 oz Ovengold turkey/cottage cheese

D: 1.5 oz Buddig ham/cottage cheese

S: Cappucino PP

4 Bariatric Fusion multivitaminsc

Still trying to get enough water in. Today I've added a fruity/citrusy teabag to my water. I like water as is, but drink more when it is a little flavored.

Still working on upping my exercise - will walk outside when the sun goes down, until then just walking inside.

Good Afternoon Menu Friends:

I was a bundle of nerves yesterday!! Agreed to let me 12 yo son walk home from summer camp (15 minute walk) and of course he forgot to text me when he left the park. He then decided to ride the bus 2 stops home (it's too hot). Because the bus did not show at 4:20 exactly, he decided to walk. Luckily, he turned around and the bus was coming. He runs to the next stop (just one stop to go), hops on and misses his stop. Now, he has to walk back a stop!! Only my son can turn a 15 minute walk to a 50 minute trip. Needless to say, I was able to follow his trip by using Find my iPhone.

I was so nervous, I got Uber home instead of catching the bus. I got home 10 minutes after he arrived (mind you my ride is from UCLA to Inglewood on the freeway). Hopefully, today will be better....

ACCOUNTABILITY: Because of my schedule change, I am eating less. I have more fluids and less food. So far, I am eating around 900-1000 calories daily with 100+g of protein.

QOTD: I am an early riser so I see both.

M1: lots of chai & decaf coffee with vanilla protein shake

M2: wonderslim chili with cajun sausage

M3: lots of unsweetened tea

M4: protein hot chocolate with wonderslim crunchy chocolate minis

M5: more decaf coffee

Vits: yes

Fluids: yes

Exercise: not really but I have been getting 12,000 steps daily going nowhere!

Have a wonderful day everyone.

Another late day (in the office today). I was up too late last night too and am VERY tired. Nice picture from the train!

I'm looking forward to the shoe pictures on Friday (I love shoes) and am mulling over which are my favorite and how to take the picture (LOL!). What a novel idea!

QOTD: I see the sunrise most this time of year because I'm usually up before it occurs. Sad to say that lately I have been going to bed before sunset. How sad is that? I can't wait until retirement.

15.5 months post-op, in maintenance.

B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese

L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: leftover pork kabobs and peppers (had shrimp instead yesterday)

S: cheese sticks, protein bar, yogurt
