Good morning,

I'm going to the beach today since it's going to be hot and humid.

Accountability had a cucumber with my egg salad last night otherwise i stayed on plan.

QOTD I wore color before surgery and still do. I wear more prints now than solid color.

Daisy, I haven't experience the hot flashes or night sweats so no help.

, ham and cheese omelette and string cheese

L ham and cheese slimwich and baked potato chips

D spaghetti meat sauce and zucchini zoodles

S egg salad made with cottage cheese is really good and cucumber

Morning all!

Daisy, that top is very cute! Are you as tall as you look in that pic? You look like you have legs for days in those black pants!

QOTD- I have always stayed away from, well, not even so much colors as patterns, especially in tops. My oldest child is always giving me a hard time about it, lol. "How many navy blue shirts do you think you own now mom?" I still stay away from them. We will see if that changes.

Accountability- had an awesome day yesterday. I was very busy, which helps. Today we will head back to that infernal bowling alley which started the graze-fest last week. I am determined not to make that mistake again. I am armed with sugarless gum which I will not take out of my mouth while I am there for any reason! And I will eat on the way there, just to make sure I'm not actually hungry.

Food today, 10 months post op-

B- thin pork chop, cauliflower "grits".

L- I have some leftovers from last night's ground beef and veggie skillet, and I think I will have a peach too. Local peaches are in. Mmmmm.

D- Coconut chicken curry with cauliflower "rice". That's right, I did it again, cauliflower twice in one day, hah! My husband will be so thrilled! There is no difference between cauliflower "grits" and cauliflower "rice" of course. It's all in the presentation. "It's rice, honey!"

I love peach season. They are totally carb worthy.

I love nectarines but they are way out my my comfort zone with carbs. Maybe once I reach goal I can eat a 1/2 of one.

Greetings!

Well, I've never been much of a colour guy, but I do have one really bright red t-shirt I kinda like, and today I'm wearing a green golf shirt for work. I never used to buy that stuff, but since I've gone from 4xl to xl (and some L) shirts in the past 4 months, I've had to raid the local thrift stores a few times to keep the cost down. You get what you get in that case. The rest are either dark blue, black, or light grey (greys are more for the gym, because when sweaty, they're dark grey, LOL). Much to the chagrin of my wife, I've also dug out my old hunting gear and realtree camo has made a comeback a wee bit.

Still in the honeymoon phase, so my eating is slim pickin'.

Breakfast and lunch: Protein shake

MS and AS: 1/2 cup cottage cheese with 1.5 oz strawberries

S: Probably salad with tuna

ES: Unknown but likely nothing

Exercise: Walk to/from work (11k round trip), cycle to the gym for 45 minutes of the elliptical and I trying to kill each other, 30 minutes of various weightlifting), cycle home in time for a bonfire.

:)

Remember, no matter where you go.......there you are.

Good morning OH~ It's going to be pretty warm here, but it's a dry heat so very bearable. I'm sorry to hear your time has come Daisy, it sucks. My experience so far is that for about a year prior to surgery I was flush and hot daily - no matter what, all the time, especially at night. I never got the sweats though unless I was active but it didn't take much for me to be soaking wet... since surgery it has only happened a few times. My BF was miserable and froze through it all, bless his heart!

Accountability - ate 100% on plan, basically AMAW (w/cream in coffee) to recover and catch up from my stall/gain or whatever that was.

QOTD - I definitely am more open to color and larger print now. I have always loved them, but when I would put on a 3x of some vibrant color or print there just seemed to be so much of it and made me stand out which was the last thing I wanted. So I wore dark colors with very little light color pops. I don't feel that way anymore, in fact I'm wearing a bright pink blouse today that I never would have worn before.

7+mo post op - 197.0 today, YES!

b-coffee w/heavy cream and splenda, HB egg

l-tuna salad w/balsamic vinegar

d-chicken thigh

v/l - on track

e-not today - it's kiddo time tonight

Have a great day all!!
