What's on your Menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?
Back home after being gone for 9 days. Scale is sadly up 1.8 pounds due to eating at banquets and there being no really good choices. Had a great time though and I will get that weight off quickly since I'm back into my routine now. If we go to this shoot next year,I plan on taking a side salad every meal to go with my meat. As another shooter from our area said,"They never serve anything green here, and if they did it would be fried like everything else!" Lesson learned. QOTD I definitely wear more colors now. Before surgery I wore brown, black, navy and maroon, but now I have just about every color in my closet. Lily and I have our walk in and did 3.4 miles today. We'Ll do another mile after supper too. We did do great about exercise while we were gone so I'm proud of that. Post op 4 years 10.5 months and weight at 119.8--Yuck! Moving on here's the food plan for maintenance today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz deli turkey and cheese with guacamole D 31/2 oz shrimp 1/2 c green beans. I'll make shrimp fettuccine Alfredo for the family. Have a great day everyone and make some smart and conscious choices that move you one step closer to your goals!

ONLY ONE PAIR OF SHOES??!
That's a hard decision, Daisy! Dang!
I had a hysterectomy 4 years ago, and while they left my ovaries, so in theory I didn't go through menopause when that happened, it left me with no 'hints' that I was going through menopause until I had my hormone levels checked about 6 months ago (ok, I'm 52, I started having some hot flashes, but it was also while I went through the rapid weight loss, so I was freezing most of the time as well). I went with the bioidentical hormone replacement at that time. I did the 3 month pellet, and while I LOVED the effects of it, I didn't like them having to cut into my hip, I really got stressed over that. So I opted to try the Estrodial and testosterone creams this go round. I'm not sure how I feel about that, and I think I might opt back into the pellet and just take an ativan prior to the appointment to help with the anxiety of them placing the pellet (Doc suggested).
QOTD: Colors... I LOVE them! I really sometimes wonder if I don't push the limit with them being that I am over 50... but you know what? I DON'T CARE! This is what I'm wearing today... Ha!
Accountability... I am still struggling. I did great all day yesterday and ate on plan... until after dinner... then I decided that a T of almond butter slathered over 6-8 Ritz crackers was a good idea.... Sigh. I need to find my good place again, because it's one thing to have a planned 'snack' that's not on 'plan'... but it's another when I just go and decide this **** last minute. Again... it's about losing control at this point for me than it is eating off plan.
Weight this morning 139.6... over a year out, and flirting between maintenance and 5 more lbs...
B: 3.5 ounces of fajita meat
L: 3.5 ounces of cheese stuffed meatballs in an Alfredo sauce
S: Cheese stick and a handful of pork rinds
D: Up in the air... hubby comes home tonight, but it will likely be after dinner time. I'm planning on making up 2 lbs of taco meat though, so I'll probably have a taco 'salad' 3.5 ounces of meat with a bit of lettuce/tomatoes/ cheese/ salsa and maybe an avocado slice if I can find any that are ripe.
