What's on your Menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?
Good Morning Menu Friends,
Yesterday marked a shift in my schedule. After 45 years of childcare, my day care provider retired last Friday. She would shuttle my 12 yo son to and from summer camp so I could arrive at work by 7 am. She would also take him to school & pick him up.
Now, I am taking him to camp which opens at 7:30 am and then take the train in to work--arriving by 9:30 am. LA traffic at its best. So today, I've decided to let my son walk home from camp--the park is a 15 minute walk home. I am a bundle of nerves today to say the least.
I was done with menopause by 47--I think my pregnancy at 37 triggered it. I still have hot flashes, night sweats -- 5 HTP helped tremendously. I haven't started again with the 5 HTP again but maybe in 2018.
ACCOUNTABILITY: Because of my new schedule, I ate a lot less and lost a pound!
QOTD: Black is my favorite color then & now. I do have colorful blouses.
M1: Lots of chai with vanilla protein shake
M2: Chicken chorizo with vanilla greek yogurt
M3: Sausage link with strawberry greek yogurt
M4: Lots of decaf with vanilla protein shake
Vit: Yes
Fluids: the heat has me drinking a gallon plus
Exercise: 10 sit ups and batwing exercises

Great pics everyone with all the colors!
Accountibility: Ok so about 2 weeks ago after being out in the heat and humidity for 3 days I was up about 6 lbs. I always retain a lot of water when that happens. I had also eaten some salty food. The following week I lost a few of those pounds but not all of them. Maybe it wasn't jus****er weight. I was on plan so not sure what happened there. Now I have been on a stall since Friday with those few extra pounds. I'm very frustrated but not discouraged. Argh!
QOTD: I have always been a black & black, blue, gray, white and rarely yellow, or dark orange. Even when I had lost a bunch of weight a few years back.
B: 2 eggs, turkey breakfast sausage, 1/2 slice cheese

When I'm working in my garden in the heat and humidity, sometimes I'm so puffy from water retention I can't get my wedding ring off. I feel the struggle!
Hi Daisy and everyone. I'm ecstatic. Saw my surgeon yesterday for a routine visit. And... He's very pleased with my progress. All my blood levels are good...I've lost 60 ,pounds since surgery (on April 26) and a total of about 100 since my initial consultation. Just have to keep it up. Doesn't want to see me for four months. I'm still not hungry. Although I've noticed a new interest in food. TV ads kill me lol. Making me kind of nervous.
I've always look liked bright colors and patterns.. My thought has been that being ssmo wasn't going to stop me from wearing what I wanted.
