Thanks for the good luck wish...I did not get the job. I'm not too disappointed, I really like the job I have, but it was more money. The Supervisor thst I interviewed with told me that I did really good in the interview, but had no prodction experience. He did tell me not to let it stop me from trying for it again if it come open in the future.

Good morning :)

Today I'm taking puppy 2 for his six week surgery check up. Puppy 1 got sick again last night -- we think it might be a new treat we gave her, so we will be stopping those.

Accountability: I ended up having a four hour nap yesterday to try and catch up from the night before. So not a lot of hours to eat and drink. Last night I was snacky and ended up not feeling well when I went to bed.

QOTD: I have bruises everywhere. Last time I saw my doctor he asked if I was okay and if I was being abused. Most of them are usually from soccer or playing with the puppies I think. But this week I have two on my arm and I have no idea what they are from. I also had a large one on my stomach, but I do know where I got that one... I was breaking up large branches and I tried to use my stomach as leverage on the snips. Oops!!

Breakfast - protein shake

Snack - egg, pickles

Lunch - leftover chicken

Snack - cheese, almonds - on the road

Dinner - probably more chicken

Snack - protein shake

All water and vits.

Morning Daisy and menu peeps!

Accountability: Wow Daisy, we sound like we had the same weekend! I am still alone at the house, so there's no one there to keep me accountable... I actually made my first bag of popcorn Saturday night!!! WTH? Luckily the only popcorn I found in the house was a small individual sized bag, and I did burn some of it, but I ate that and then baked up these icky 'Oreo flavored churros' that the kids have had in the back freezer for months... I made two, but only ate one... also, on Saturday I ordered a pizza while working at our aunt's house (yes, I am still working on that stupid house), and over the course of the weekend, I ate the toppings off that whole damn pizza (ok, it was all meat, and boy was it good... but really?!). I did steer clear from MOST of the crust, but I did have a few bites. Yesterday I did OK, but I put whipped cream (oh, yes, somewhere I decided that I could buy another can and bring it home) on a protein bar last night! Ugh. And, there was wine involved as well. NOT a good weekend, and most definitely my worst weekend since surgery.

I do want to give myself kudos for NOT stopping and buying a bag of cheetos... I wanted them badly... but I refrained. So there IS that bright win in my spot.

QOTD: I don't think my bruising has changed since surgery... I don't bruise easily, but there are often times that I find a bruise and have no idea where it came from!

Weight this morning reflects my poor decisions this weekend... 140.2 (I don't like this number at all!)

B: sous vide sirloin I cooked yesterday 3.5 ounces

S: cheese stick

L: Frozen surprise... either chili dog casserole or shredded beef

D:I don't know... I'm still home alone and didn't take anything out, but I have plenty of frozen good choices in there and not a lot of anything else to mess me up!

S: I've been doing iced latte's lately instead of hot ones, both are yummy!

I've brushed off the crumbs... thank goodness...

Just need to get out of this funk I'm in. I can't decide if it's because I miss having everyone gone from the house... or because I don't miss them right now...

I think I might be a little depressed... if it doesn't clear up soon I'll go see what can be done about it, because I hate feeling this way (and I know it'll affect my health/weight if I let it continue too long).

Remember us talking about major life events and how much stress they add? You have had so many changes in stresses, it is pretty normal to feel down. Whatever you need to do to shake it, do it. No one likes that feeling.

I know I really really struggle when no one is at home. For me it is all about eating when no one is watching. Back in the day, I loved eating when I was alone. That is when I would eat with no control, super fast, terrible choices...oh...hey ...that sounds like a binge eh? I never thought I had an eating disorder but looking back I think I probably did.

Honestly the only thing that really helps now is 1) get out of the house if no one is home 2) cook some crazy complicated healthier version of something. By the time I am done cooking I don't binge like I would have with the quick fix snacks I wanted. It doesn't always work...goodness knows... but those two things are what have worked well for me.
