What's on your menu today (Monday) RNYers?
I love Syntrax Peanut Butter Cookie mixed with plain Greek yogurt! One of my favorite treats! I also use it all the time to make SF frozen protein pudding pops (mixed with butterscotch pudding - sometimes I'll add in some cinnamon or a little Quest Cinnamon Crunch protein powder with it, too (in a 2:1 ratio - 2 peanut butter: 1 cinnamon crunch). OMG!!!

Ok bless you because I just came home and made a PB shake with milk and added some cinnamon protein powder to it. OMG delish! I never thought of that before. I never liked the cinnamon one on its own but now this is a new fav recipe. THANKS!
As Maryann said on her post the other day- the brain is a liar. That being said the battle is real.
I'm sure some of it is water weight and getting back on track, some of it will come off quickly. But I understand wanting to feel your best especially for presentations.
I put in a Netrition order last night because I was missing my SYntrax mint cookie and the fit frappe chai. I always forget about adding protein powder the yogurt, whenever I see that on your menu I'm like -duh

Those are two of my favorite flavors. I always laugh when I hear people say they tried every type of shake and hate them. I must be a true fat girl because there are so many I love! Mmm mmm mmm!
You have all the tools you need and you are motivated. Shallow? Nah...just a motivating goal. You will look fantastic no matter what but I believe you will do it!

"I am basically food's creepy ex-girlfriend. I know we can't be together anymore but I just want to spend time hanging out" ~me, about why I love cooking so much post WLS
Good morning all - quick post for me this morning, I will come back and catch up on posts later today.
QOTD - I have atrial Fibrillation and because of that I am on blood thinners for the rest of my life - so I bruise easily both before and after WLS. Due to rapid weight loss and for whatever other reason since my surgery, my blood clotting number have not been stable. I used to be able to go 6 weeks between checking my levels, now I can only go 2 weeks and it seems as though my doses change every time :(
Today's menu:
B - protein shake with coffee
B2 - 3.5 oz. smoked salmon
L - 3.6 oz. shrimp w/ ****tail sauce, small spinach salad w/ grape tomatoes, light Italian dressing

S - 3.5 oz. Pork Loin
Calories - 647, Protein - 108, Carbs - 21
Have a great week everyone. Still waiting to see if won the job posting that I put in for. Hoping to hear some good news today :)
