What's on your menu today (Monday) RNYers?
So, when I'm eating leftovers, here's my rule of thumb... and I know it's pushing what a lot of articles say, but I'm here, alive, to tell you it works for me...
If I cook it say, Thursday evening... I count from Friday... so Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon... after that I won't eat it. (4 days not counting the day I cook it).
So I think you're good (even though it's probably after lunch for you so this might be a moot point).

I took the plunge and ate it. I am here alive and well. I think I will throw the last of it out when I get home but it seemed ok. I figured that when I heated it up if it smelled weird I would toss it. I seemed ok...so... shrug. I think it was fine. :)

Happy Monday guys!
I'm 3.5 weeks out now and the rolle coaster of I feel great vs. utter exhaustion is getting old....I know it will get better, but it still sucks! Today marks the start of my son's first full day of kindergarten, so I was a bundle of nerves this morning and my stomach absolutely hated the protein shake I tried drinking. I made some syntrax fuzzy navel in a shaker cup and carried that with me as I walked him to school....my stomach feels better but now that I'm home from a quick round of errands at the store I am absolutely exhausted. Even the idea of posting here is exhausting....but I'm making myself do it. I would totally nap except I have a therapy appointment at noon and it's the first one since surgery so I absolutely do not want to miss it! I enter phase 2 of my soft foods this week as well so I'm looking forward to that...more variety, ground turkey and hardboiled eggs etc.
Accountability - still going very well, I'm losing between .2-.6lbs daily, making sure to measure my protein and water, I have to remember to add in daily fiber or I pay for it later!
QOTD: I bruise often...because I'm constantly running into things. I joke that I come by it genetically because my mother is the same way, we are just not graceful. It's no surprise to me that my son is the same way.
Menu:
B: Fairlife Milk, Syntrax Nectar Fuzzy Navel
S: Laughing Cow Cheese, Pepperjack
L: Scrambled Egg w/cottage cheese, banana
S: Turkey, Babybel mozarella
D: TBD - some sort of protein first and then some diced zucchini if I have room
E: Walking
L: Ice Water
Have a great day guys!

I love ground turkey and eat it every other day, it seems like! I remember early out it had to be SUPER moist, and I often tolerated it perfectly the night I made it, but the leftovers the day after would be drier and give me the foamies/make me throw up. So keep an eye on it and make sure it's very saucy :) The tiredness goes away, and as you continue to lose weight you will feel more and more energy so keep staying the course! It seems like you're doing great! And once you can have more dense protein options, you may even opt to ditch the bananas so you can get more protein in. All doctors phases are different - I was cleared for meats after two weeks. But trust me, things only get better from here on out!
