Hello menu crew! Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who posted your "before & afters" you all look incredible!! Happy Monday, how is everyone? I am good, had a busy weekend and a broken sleep last night so feeling extra tired today.

Accountability: This weekend was an endless carb fest and its like I had two hollow legs because I non stop ate. I am feeling bloated and frustrated that I ate so crappy this weekend. It started on Saturday night, we were over at a friends house for dinner, they ALWAYS bbq meat, always, and yet this time they served lasagna, sour dough bread, red wine and butter tarts for dessert, all yummy, but nothing WLS friendly. I did have a small piece of lasagna and then ate when I got home. Then yesterday it was Doritos, peanut M&Ms, a slice of chicken & caramelized onion thin crust pizza, and a slice of rye toast with peanut butter, WHAT THE HELL?!?!?! Today is get my head back in the game day, protein, protein, protein and fighting the carb monster!

QOTD: Do you bruise more, less or the same since surgery? I actually bruise less since I has surgery but lately I have found about 8 random bruises all on my lower legs from about the knee down. Its quite weird. Even my husband yesterday was like, "what are you doing to yourself?" I don't remember hitting my legs and the only thing I can think of is its lifting weights at the gym and when I am putting them away I am hitting or bumping into things? Otherwise I truly don't know. Its very weird actually.

I'm a bruiser pre and post WLS.

I ate little pizzas made out of nuked pepperoni,a piece of nuked swiss cheese, and then topped with a little avocado.

Adding the bran buds to the yogurt make it much more of a meal. I needed fiber.

I ate those things plus coffee, a quest bar,a teaspoon of peanut butter (one of those good for you PB..just one ingredient..peanuts) and 4 sugar free hard candies.

Good morning menu folks! I usually work from home on Mondays, but I'm in the office today. I like the freedom of flexing my time when I work from home, but sometimes meetings and other commitments make it impossible.

I plan to head to the gym for 45 minutes today and I'd love to get in some pool time after work, but that may not be possible.

QOTD: I haven't noticed any difference in bruising.

Breakfast: scrambled eggs, 2 pieces turkey bacon

Snack: Lemonade protein shake

Lunch: Soy ginger cod

Snack: 2 ounces smoked salmon

Dinner: TJ's Balsamic chicken

Exercise: 45 minutes in the gym

Good morning menu crew! Happy Monday. Wishing I was still on vacation but these temps sure don't feel like summer! It's overcast and apparently 19 c/66 f but to me it doesn't feel that warm. We had a great vacation though. I saw a lot of people that I hadn't seen in a year and received lots of compliments.

QOTD- I haven't really noticed. I've always bruised easily and today I noticed a bruise near my knee on both legs. Almost in the same spot and it's also very strange as I have no idea where they came from.

Accountability: I did quite well over the time we were away. There were always protein forward options and I drank all my water. A bit disappointed to see only a .2 loss on the scale this morning but I'm confident the weight loss will start up again.

Menu:

Breakfast: Protein shake

Lunch: Salad Bar

Dinner: Either pork chops or chicken on the BBQ. Plus some veggies

Snack: Skyr yogurt if I feel I need it

Back on the mat tonight. Haven't decided which workout yet.

Since I missed photo Friday, I thought I'd share my before and after (during) today. This is from the same weekend last year and this year. My 2 closest friends were there last year but only 1 could be there this year.

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.

77 lbs lost and counting!

Losing the regain! I got this!
