What's on your Sunday Menu RNYers?
Happy Sunday, everyone :)
QotD: I love to garden! I'm sort of a newbie, having only gotten into it in the last 5 years or so, but I'm currently growing zuchinni, tomatoes (3 varieties), peppers (3varieties), yellow squash, onions, cucumbers, butternut squash, acorn squash, potatoes, garlic, broccoli, kale, and I have an herb garden for basil, cilantro, dill, oregano, chives, and catnip (for the furbabies). I also can/preserve/pickle a lot of it.
Accountability: stayed on plan, ended up eating at a dodgy little diner for lunch whilst out and about. It was fantastic! I had a grilled chicken sandwich, no bun, and ate some of a side salad with it.
Breakfast: Greek L&F
snack: lowfat string cheese
lunch: spinach salad
dinner: tacos without shells (seasoned ground turkey, cheese, sour cream, made fresh pico de gallo)
snack: frozen Greek yogurt while we watch GAME OF THRONES!
Excersize: this morning walked 2 miles on the treadmill, upper body and ab weight machines, will do some gardening and weed-pulling this evening
also--scale showed me down 2 lbs, even after Friday's potluck horror show.
QOTD: I used to do well with houseplants that liked to be ignored and then flooded. My mom used to call my family room a jungle. But, due to retirement and going south for the winters, all plants have found new homes or are now soil.
Loved the garden pics.
Liz, so sorry to hear about your car.

We have a well established garden that mostly runs on its own. Things grow well in Seattle except tomatoes. We do have one plant in a tub this year. Usually we end up with a few green ones.
I'm going out to a great burger joint with the boy. They wrap with lettuce better than most. Then to the grocery store to replenish meat supplies.
Love the pictures. That is something that I would love to see in person. My weekend has been crazy. I didn't get much sleep on Friday after working Wed. and Thurs. nights. Then I had to turn around and work Saturday night too. I have been up since since noon yesterday. I had some errands to run when I got off this morning, and then it got too late to take a nap since I need to get to bed early so I can be up by 4:30 am in the morning.
QOTD: I have no house plants because I can not keep them alive, but plant flowers in my wine barrels every year and they usually always do well. This year I planted a couple cherry tomato plants in one of them..I have tons of little green tomatoes, just waiting for them to ripen.
