What's on your Menu today (Photo Friday!) RNYers?
Morning menu'ers. I am late to the party as usual. Just got back from a quick trip to Seattle. I went with a friend who is converting from the band to RNY. She had the band taken out a month ago and the trip was for her first RNY appointment with her surgeon. We stayed with a friend. I always love visiting Seattle. It's a great town.
Accountability: stayed on plan, and am at the low end of my maintenance weight range. Yay!
QOTD: OH has given me a community of wise and wonderful people that help me stay on plan, and provide real and smart guidance. Other "support" sites make me crazy with all of the terrible advice posted on them. I can't even....
2-1/2 years post op:

Well you're always fashionably late for the party. You always make a fashion statement before and after. :)
Amazing. Amazing. Amazing.

Happy Friday Menu Friends!
I've been missing from the menu post for a few days but I am sorting out my son's middle school choices. I was notified a few days ago (about 30 before school starts) that my school of choice will not admit any 7th graders. So, I will send him to choice #2---getting paperwork together, plotting route to school, etc.
QOTD: OH has given me all the support I need and then some. I like the "straight, no chaser" advice -- comments about daily living with WLS and the challenges we all face. I enjoy the friendships made and look forward to reading comments & articles.
ACCOUNTABILITY: Even though I did not post here, I stayed on track. I am feeling much better which I think is due to adding a 3rd multivitamin to my daily regime and increasing my caloric intake from 800 to 1100. I'm back at 170 lbs and I feel great. Not sure if I want to pursue losing another 10 pounds.
M1: Lots of chai with vanilla protein shake
M2: Grilled chicken chunks w/cheddar cheese and blueberry greek yogurt
M3: Grilled chicken breast w/strawberry greek yogurt
The rest of the day is up in the air!
