Great progress.
I was told over and over, and I research the crapout of it - that as we heal from any major surgery we need to get at least 2500-3000 calories per day, mostly from proteins and food fats. Limiting the calories will slow down the healing.
so far- every time I followed that (after my Plastics) I healed well and fast.
add some collagen proteins if you can, more proteins in general - eggs are great, plus some good fat like butter, olives, avocado, etc...
Doing that I never gained weight, and most of the time I still lost fat and inches.
Egg drop soup with a few slices of avocado, and a spoon of real butter, or coconut oil, was my to go "dish". Plus - the extra fat really helped in the BM department. Bone broth is great. Collagen drinks or SF jello. That helps with skin and connective tissue healing.
After you heal - then you can safely limit the calories. And if you follow protein and fat diet (not crackers) - it is going to be a chore to really get enough calories in.
Good luck.
PS: I know it is easier said than done.... I've been there- recovering from PS.

You look like a whole new person; amazing! I'm sorry about the feet; I get that way too if I don't take my water pills, especially in hot and humid weather.

You look sooooo much younger in the after photo! It is striking. So much hard work. Wow. I'm excited to hear about how your new therapy stuff goes. Be sure and send along any tips you find along the way.
