on 7/14/17 3:22 am - GTA, Ontario, Canada
Hello Menu Crew! How is everyone? I am good, its Friday, post your "before & afters!!" Who has fun plans this weekend? We have a few tentative plans but nothing firm yet. I am going to the gym tomorrow, its my fav three classes (step, Abs+butt+glutes, muscle pump), I sweat for three hours and work out all the weeks frustrations! I don't need glasses yet yay! The optometrist said I can get by with readers so far, yahoo!
Accountability: stayed on plan yesterday.
QOTD: Finish this sentence: "Obesity Help (OH) has given me..." OH has given me a realistic picture of what a real life post gastric bypass patients life and eating looks like. OH has given me the dose of reality that most WLS centres fail to provide us for life post surgery. OH has given me friendships that I cherish deeply, some of you have become a huge part of my life and our connections go even deeper than WLS.

10+ years post op, living & loving life!
Good Friday morning menu folks!
It's still quite hot and humid here, but I may try an outdoor walk this morning or over the weekend since I am home. I miss getting out and moving outside, so I am looking forward to a couple of slightly cooler days. If I don't go outside, I'll hit the treadmill and maybe sneak in a swim if I can.
QOTD: OH has given me a support system of people who understand what post-surgery life is really like. OH has given me great information about what really works and what doesn't, like AMAW/CAMAW vs. the dietary guidelines from my surgeon.
Breakfast: hard boiled egg, TJ's ham
Snack: Syntrax Nectar Grape protein shake
Lunch: TJ's chicken sausage, Brussels sprouts
Snack: 2 ounces turkey breast
Dinner: Shrimp, broccoli
Exercise: 50 minutes on the treadmill, swimming?
Here is a before.
Then a picture from my last surgeon's appointment 3 weeks ago.
I've lost another couple of pounds since the appointment, but I don't have a more recent picture.

Women always notice shoes. I'll never get it. I don't even notice feet. I didn't even notice your cat was missing a leg until you mentioned it.
