4 Month Surgiversary (w/pics)
Today marks four months since I had surgery. I have never regretted it and have been very lucky so far to not have had any issues at all. I started out my journey at 369.8 pounds and as of today I weigh 221.8. I lost 84.8 pounds on my own while jumping through the hoops to get my insurance to approve and pay for surgery. Since surgery I have lost 63.2 pounds (4 months).
I have went from wearing a size 32 jeans to a size 18. I have went from wearing 4X - 5X shirts to wearing XL - 2X. I am pleased with my progress so far, I have 76.8 pounds to reach the first goal that I set.
Thanks so much to all of the people on this site that share their stories, wisdom, thoughts, tips, and give out encouragement so freely. I don't think I would be doing this well without you all.
I don't have many before pictures, because I hated having my picture taken, but I did come across a couple on my phone in the cloud the other day. We were fishing at night so the pictures are not the best. I was pretty proud of my bass lol (it was over the length limit and I had to throw it back in but it was a fun catch).
The bottom two pictures were taken on Tuesday (two days ago) before we left to take my niece to the zoo.

Wow! You are doing GREAT!!
off topic, and maybe you won't know what I'm talking about, but at the end of the movie Napoleon Dynamite, Napoleon approaches a female friend (I can't remember if they were dating, they were both incredibly awkward characters and it's been years since I've seen the movie) and he says, "I caught you a delicious bass." and offers her the fish. Whenever I go fishing now, it's my go-to quote after having caught a bass.

It's a really offbeat kind of awkward humor. The first time I watched it I didn't think much of it, but I found myself quoting it al the time. It's gotten funnier to me as I've gotten older. Worth a watch!
Wow you're doing great! Keep up the good work.
