Hello! How is everyone today? Its hump day! Warm and muggy here with thunderstorms in the forecast for later this afternoon/evening, that's okay by me, the lawn and flowers could use a good soaking.

Accountability: did great yesterday, stayed on plan all day/evening. Only thing that happened was my grilled chicken breast, I know I ate a piece too fast that was not chewed as well and man oh man I knew as soon as I swallowed it it was not going to be good. And sure enough the chest pain started, and I was moaning and hubby was like "what can I do," and you know how it is, just leave me alone! I was in pain for hours, it didn't come back up (thank god, because I don't throw up now, just wretch for hours), but I was in some pain! UGH!

QOTD: how do you feel about socks? Other than in the winter when my feet are frozen I prefer bare feet. The minute I get home from work I take my work clothes off and change into comfies and the socks must come off, hate socks! I only wear them because I have to.

3.8 yrs post op RNY - maintenance - my menu is the exact same as yesterday, boring I know, but it worked!

B: a few decaf with 1 vanilla PP used as creamer then tuna/peppers/balsamic

L: Greek chicken skewer (take out from work) with tzatziki

S: 2 cheese strings

D: 5oz of bbq'd chicken breast + A1 sauce - plan on chewing the heck out of this tonight!

S: 1 deviled egg

TOTALS: 934 calories, 116 protein, 22 carbs

V: patches are on

L: lots of decaf & water with diet cranberry

E: rest night for me and if we have storms no dog walk, but will try to get them out in the evening

Have an awesome day everyone, be fabulous! Photo Friday is "before & afters"

Morning!

i haven't been outside yet, but the weather looks heavy here.

Anyone else get to the point where they are tired of shopping? I don't mean to sound like a humble brag, but I realized I don't have enough clothes to get through a whole work week. Again. and when fall rolls around, I will need all new warm weather clothes again too! I know it's a good problem to have, I just didn't realize how time consuming it could be hahaha.

Accountability : ok. I had sunflower seeds as a snack, which really adds calories, but everything was on plan.

qotd: regular socks I kick off as soon as I can, but I'm the winter I have a few thick wooly pair I like to wear as slippers.

menu:

my fridge is the saddest it's ever been. Will hit the grocery store after work, but best guesses:

B: premiere protein

L: leftover fajita chicken

D: I think some kind of pork. Daisy's Greek chicken skewer has me craving souvlaki.

have a good one gang!

I'm enjoying shopping a little too much! Lol- I love that I can go to the mall and not be limited to just the plus size stores. And the deals! I bought a gorgeous dress at Giant Tiger for $15.00! I find if I look for coupon codes online and shop only sales that it's either the same or cheaper to buy new than to buy from Value Village.

We have a big chain thrift store here called Value Village but I find them to be overpriced. I haven't ventured in to any of the smaller independent ones. I've had a lot of luck buying lots from our local buy and sell. I will buy a bag of clothes for $20 and then sort through it. The first time I did it I really lucked out. I got a gorgeous spring jacket plus a bunch of clothes that I really liked. And I will be able to sell a lot of it and make back the money plus some.

we have value villiage here also but in the larger cities. I find the more local community based ones work better for me $1 racks. One store was fill a bag for $5 I nearly went crazy! 2 weeks ago I also found .25 rack and fell out!! got a ton of stuff that was awesome!

I hate shopping which makes things tough when you don't have enough clothes. My size 8 pants are a little too big right now. Thinking about being in a size 6 is crazy to me (heck size 8 blew my mind) but I hate the thought of having to go out and replace them!!

Over 100 lbs lost! and 13 lbs below goal weight!

I was on a path that led me to my favorite Goodwill's at least twice a week during lunch! Finances are a little tight after all of our travelling, so I'm curbing it this week - oh wait... oops... the lady that owns our little boutique in town had her own 'closet sale'... while I only got 1 pair of shorts - the competition was crazy, I couldn't click fast enough! - I did end up with 3, maybe 4 pairs of new shoes yesterday!

I LOVE finding a bargain, and that's that. Oh yeah, and Ross, and The Rack, and even Target...

I might have a shopping issue... but I don't care! When I can get a bag full of clothes for under $20 I consider it a huge win!

I detest shopping. If there's something I miss most about being a nurse, it's uniforms, hah! Throwing on a pair of scrubs and birkenstocks before I walk out the door. That's about my speed.

I could never stand baggy pants or ill-fitting bras, so I would rather just have two or three that worked well and keep washing them... Tops and dresses I could make work longer with belts and accessories...

Souvlaki does sound good....
