Morning guys!
This is my mega annoyed menu post - yesterday was such a MONDAY ugh. Yesterday my son started kindergarten, I managed to dump water on myself THREE times, I got a splinter in my foot, I forgot my lunch (yay for finding a little snack thing that had 2oz. of turkey breast and cheese in it at the store), I had to deal with a school IEP/transportation snafu (that is likely going to result in a schedule change and having to cancel a trip where tickets have already been purchased and paid for ), and had to call the bank because some douchecanoe used our CC in Georgia (I hope you choke on that orange chicken dude).
On the plus side....my clothes aren't fitting, I didn't stress eat, I got in almost 10k steps, and I'm fired up to take on the school administration to get this crap-show sorted out.
Accountability - Great....I got in extra water yesterday and made my protein goals. My only hiccup was that I accidentally inhaled a small bit of turkey at one point, and I finally took a bite where I didn't chew enough and I ended up with the foamies until it came back up. Yuck! (I will say it was definitely a different experience than when I was banded though)
QOTD: I'm actually having an ISO100 Clear right now - 40 grams of protein, 2g of carbs, 0 sugar, and it tastes good. I don't drink them often but if I need something quick they're handy to have and I was dealing with a bunch of email crap this morning so fast was definitely a plus!
Menu:
B: ISO100 Protein Drink
S: String Cheese
L: Turkey, Sweet Potato
S: Laughing Cow Cheese
D: Scrambled Egg, Slice of Avocado
E: Hopefully going to the pool today after OT/Haircuts!
Have a great day guys!

I'd be unstoppable if not for law enforcement & physics
Wow! That was quite a Monday. Sounds like you handled it like a champ though.
You are early out so chewing well, small bites, and moist food are so important. The foamies are the worst. I never knew about that pre-surgery, but when I found out about it I never wanted it to happen again.

3 days to vacation. I think I can make it. Tomorrow we're going to look at a house our son & daughter-in-law have a contract on. They got burned big time on their first house and our hoping for our "years of experience" advice.
Accountabilty: Did good all day until I got home and was starving. Ate 2 handfuls of pretzels and felt lousy afterwards. Didn't eat dinner. Today will be better.
QOTD: Don't drink vitamin water. I do love the flavor packets that you add to a bottle and usually have one of those as my evening "treat". Other than that I drink mostly water, a little SF iced tea and my "cup" of decaf coffee in the am.
B: protein coffee
L: 3.2 oz. baked chicken
S: 1/2 C Greek LnF yogurt, 1T PB2, 1/2 scoop protein powder
D: Steak & maybe a veggie
E: 60+ minutes on the stationary bike
Surgery Date June 3, 2016
HW: 329 W at first consult 290. SW 238, LW 128, CW 139
Morning! Stepping out later to take my son to speech therapy, then bowling with friends.
QOTD- I don't care for those drinks. Too super sweet. I have a bunch of drink powders I bought for surgery that are still here.
accountability- I swapped out dinner. Decided cauliflower twice in one day would not go over well, lol. So I just swapped it with another dinner planned for this week, sautéed chicken breasts wrapped in deli ham, marinated tomatoes, watermelon. That was ok. Not ok, I ate a Popsicle. Maybe I should make some sugar free ones with that drink mix.
Food today, 10 months out-
breakfast- sweet and spicy sausage, watermelon
lunch- roast beef rolled up with horseradish sauce and veg, cucumber carrot salad
dinner- mini meat loaves with oven roasted veggies
