on 7/11/17 3:18 am - GTA, Ontario, Canada
Good Tuesday morning people! How is everyone? Its going to be hot & humid & sunny today here, a good day to stay in the A/C at work!
Accountability: I didn't eat lunch, got crazy busy at work so I had two extra cheese strings and and extra serving of raspberries on my way home the gym, I was hungry! But other than that I stayed on plan.
QOTD: Do you drink sports drinks or things like Vitamin Water? Last night in my rush to get out to the gym I forgot my water bottle so I ran into a convenience store and grabbed a Vitamin water (strawberry kiwi). I avoid Gatorade as it gives me headaches. I was hoping that this was different, nope! I have a brutal headache today that I am going to try and drown it out with decaf coffee today LOL mmmmm coffee
3.8 yrs post op RNY - maintenance
B: a few decaf with 1 vanilla PP used as creamer then tuna/peppers/balsamic
L: Greek chicken skewer (take out from work) with tzatziki
S: 2 cheese strings
D: 5oz of bbq'd chicken breast + A1 sauce
S: 1 deviled egg (made them last night!)
TOTALS: 934 calories, 116 protein, 22 carbs
V: patches are on
L: lots of decaf & water with diet cranberry
E: 2nd night of torture... 60 mins step class then 60 mins of muscle pump!!! Walk the dogs later in the evening if it cools down enough

Morning!
qotd: nope, never really liked them, so I've always avoided. I was looking for flavoured water once at gas station and looked at vitamin water. I couldn't get past the calories, at least at this stage for me.
accountability: busy day yesterday, so I didn't eat my lunch, just the yogurt and fruit. Dinner was a sad bowl of ground beef.
menu:
B: premiere protein
L: Can of Thai tuna with 1/2 oz of cream cheese
S: skyr with berries
D: chicken breast dome somehow.
have a good one!

Good morning! It is supposed to be humid here too (chance of showers). I'm WFH, so the AC here may need to go on.
QOTD: I'll drink low or no-cal vitamin waters in a pinch because I don't like plain water much. However my preference is crystal light lemonade. I usually use the full- size packets (not the 16 oz bottle size) to flavor bottles of water (over time I just sort of know how much to pour).
Accountability: Good, but I'm up 1.5 pounds. I hate when my weight is up but I stayed on plan. Maybe a delayed reaction to weekend eating or water retention?
15.5 months post-op, in maintenance:
B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese
L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: lamb kabobs or shrimp (depends on weather and energy)
S: cheese sticks, yogurt

I seem to be a delayed reaction kinda gal... I can be not so good for days before it shows up on the scale... and it the same way, it takes upwards of a week for the scale to catch up to me being 'perfect' as well...
I really hate that.

Good Tuesday morning menu folks! It's another hot and humid day here too, so no outdoor walking for me today. I plan to head to the gym over lunch and ride the bike for a while. I also hope to get in some pool time this evening. I don't particularly like the hot and humid days, but I am determined to get in my exercise anyway.
QOTD: I drink PowerAde Zero after I exercise hard. Other than that I'm not a sports drink fan.
Breakfast: hard boiled egg, 2 pieces turkey bacon
Snack: Ice Tea protein shake
Lunch: TJ's Vera Cruz swai
Snack: 2 oz turkey breast
Dinner: Turkey
Exercise: short walk, 45 minutes in the gym

Today I made a bowl of tuna fish with eggs greek yogurt, and pickles I had that for 3 meals.
Also had cold brew with milk and the dangerous to me Trader Joe's baked cheese. I'm not buying them anymore.
I don't drink plain water. I have no caloric choices that I cycle through. Presently it's wea****d tea with a bit of spends and tons of ice.
The TJ baked cheese? A bag is a singleserving I don't care what they say. So if I open that bag I know I'm eating the whole thing. End of story.
