Hello everyone

we are back from our trip to see family and our kids are gone too so it's empty nest time today and tomorrow until we have a friend visiting for the week. Summer is great for catching up but hard for routines!

Accountability: I stayed with eating only foods on plan even though there were tons of off plan options at every turn. That was very difficult. However, I caught myself picking constantly. Even though it was the right foods the constant picking did eventually catch up to me and made me feel quite sick one night. I did gain or lose while I was gone which is a win I guess.

QOTD: I'm am not an egg fan but I'll eat them when I go out for breakfast. I prefer them poached so I can dunk in bacon or ham. I also will eat them deviled.

B: decaf and protein hot chocolate

L: turkey, roast beef, chicken and goat cheese with lettuce and light dressing

s: prosciutto and mozzarella, decaf with po and sf torani

D: grilled chicken with romaine and light dressing

Good afternoon Daisy and Menu friends!

Accountability: I was up on carbs this weekend but on balance made a lot of good choices! I went to TWO small concerts, both at bars, and stuck to water both times. I also managed to get my run in Friday night before a concert and after a really rough day of work, and while I didn't run Sunday night, I did walk for an hour on bike path with friends and we were moving at a great pace. I actually ran about a half mile of it just to see how it felt to run that far on a gradual incline. After our big walk we sat at a local fruit market and ate bowls of fresh berries. I'm not sure how the frozen yogurt got into the bowl...

Eggs: I still get a few dozen eggs every week from my farm. I love eggs but mostly love them with toast so I find myself eating them only rarely now. I do make deviled eggs a lot, it's an easy dish to bring along to a picnic and everyone expects me to show up with something egg based!

I had a very difficult time learning to eat my eggs without toast but as time went on it did get easier. It still sucks not to able to have toast though! LOL!

Hi everyone,

Late post again!

Accountibility: I stayed on plan yesterday although it was difficult! I went to my aunts 90th birthday party at an Italian restaurant and the first thing the waiters did was bring a huge platter of assorted breads and garlic knots with oil and garlic dipping sauce and set down about 6 inches from where I was sitting! it wasn't like I could just say no thank you because there were 10 other people at our table. I was very proud of myself! My brother was very supportive and put the platter down the other end of the table.

QOTD: I love eggs every which way! Hard boiled eggs go down a little hard so have to eat them extra slowly.

B: 2 eggs, turkey breakfast, 1/2 slice cheese

L: 3oz turkey sausage

S: 1 1/2 oz turkey breast, 1/2oz prosciutto di parma

D: 3 1/2 oz flat iron steak, 2 forkfuls broccoli rabe

Cals:646, Carbs:4, Protein:88

Enjoy the rest of your evening everybody!

Eggs are always iffy for me whether they are scrmbled hard boiled fried or ib the form of deviled eggs. Love them, though! I now mostly just et tem in the protin pancakes. 1 scoop vanilla protein, coconut oil, water and i egg. It always goes down nicely if I do not eat too fast!

protein shakes

awesome tuna creations

too much ham because I did not measure

and now have a stomach ache

My MIL is a terrible cook but that woman makes a mean deviled egg.

I love eggs for their satiety and ease of cooking.

Yesterday I ate ham, baked cheese,9 macadamia nuts, coffee with milk, Hebrew hot dog, and a salad.

My injured devil dog is feeling better so we are going to the dog park this evening.
