It was a very good weekend. I expected we would be up crazy late and super busy. It turns out we got to bed by midnight Friday and Saturday I fell asleep around 11 pm. I was just going to 'lay down a minute' and then we were going to go to a party. My Guy decided I needed to rest and just let me sleep. I woke at about 4 am to him sound asleep beside me and Forensic Files on the TV. Woot! Getting crazy in the hotel. LOL We got home by 10 pm and were in bed fairly shortly after that. This morning I felt rested and happy. We definitely were super busy during the days and evenings and we had a wonderful time but I am glad we got to sleep as well. I think I fail to realize that even though my foot is healing well it still is wearing me down to heal and limp around with the boot. I will be grateful when I am back on my own two feet!

QOTD (Edit to add) Eggs are weird. Sometimes they are great...sometimes they are super not great. I do love deviled eggs and those usually go well. Other eggs...it is a gamble.

Accountability: All I know is I weighed 127.0 this morning. That is a pound down from Thursday evening. I know I missed my protein goals on Sunday but otherwise didn't go off the rails. We kept the cooler in the room and had Greek yogurts, hard salami, roast beef, and cheese available for meals and snacks. I also had Wheat Thins and Graham crackers though and those happened here and there. Generally... did pretty good but wasn't perfect.

Menu: B: Low sugar oatmeal, banana; L: Frozen Goulash; D: Chicken Enchilada soup; S: Light & Fit yogurt, apple; Totals: Cal 1130; Protein 77; Carbs 132; Fat 34

Have a great day!

I'm glad your foot is doing better! I wish we could have made a meet up work while I was in town, but I know you had foot issues, and I had hospital issues... the ONE day I ventured up to Dripping Springs was the day that DH broke into a fever, was hallucinating, and texting people incoherent texts! Talk about guilt!

We'll be back down in 4-6 months though, and your foot will be healed then! We must get together then, if not sooner (if you find yourself close by).

So, is "accountability" just about how you did the day before then? That's new to me and I've been meaning to ask...

Eggs also sat really heavy for me for a long time. I eat them most mornings now. They still sit really heavy! But not in a bad way, more in a fill me up for ages way, which can be good. Over easy or deviled eggs sit best. Scrambled eggs sit like a rock.

Home all day today except for picking up my oldest from work later. Sigh. We are trying hard to get her driving this summer. Anyone else ever have a kid scared to death of driving??

food today, 10 months out-

breakfast- ham and cauliflower "grits"

lunch- cuban lettuce wrap, cucumber and tomato salad

dinner- cajun grilled chicken skewers on the grill, red cauliflower "rice" (hmm. Lots of cauliflower today, lol)

Yes the idea is to be honest about whether you actually stuck to the menu you posted... ;)

Good morning all~ BF left very early this morning for his new job in the bay area...he will be staying up there during the week and coming home on weekends. We are hoping he will be able to do a shorter work week and/or work remotely part time. We have never been apart for more than 1 night, so this will be weird. I miss him already.

Accountability - didn't eat much yesterday, not feeling well, having bathroom issues and the scale is not moving - well, down anyway...doing what I can to move things along but I'm not a patient woman... I will never stop taking something to help in this department again. I thought I was doing ok, but I've seriously learned my lesson. This sucks.

QOTD -EGGS! I love them now more than ever. I had a hard time post op for a couple months, but now I crave them all the time. I love them for dinner. Over medium, soft scramble, HB, deviled or egg salad -YUM

7m post op - 199.8 today - boo

b - coffee w/heavy cream and splenda, sweet and spicy tea, water water water

l-water water water water water water

d-water water water water water water

I have plenty of protein to eat, but I feel so bloated and gross I'm not even interested.

v/l - on track

e - 60 minute lap swim - gotta keep moving....

Hope everyone has a better day than I'm having!

What is sweet and spicy tea?? Inquiring minds need to know ;)

Miralax baby... daily... or, for me, I'm able to do it like 3 days in a row and then take two days off, but if I notice any 'slow down' during my days off, I throw a cup full in my water right then and there... LOL

Only MY FAVORITE TEA~! If you like spice - especially cinnamon you would like this. It has a sweet note to that makes it taste so good, I just love it.

I got lax with the Miralax, haha! I know - never again!
