Morning DD2! We had a great weekend. Lots of kitten fun.
QOTD: I don't care for eggs, at all. There are only 2 ways I like eggs. Baked into cookies, and Eggs a la Cadbury.

Eggs a la Cadbury...
(I confess that I don't like them at all... something about that cream in the middle and the consistency... they have never been a temptation for me....)

Good morning, DAISY, and fellow Menu Peeps! I am having 7 Short Peeps today, at staggered times, except for about 5 hours, when they will ALL be here...prayers appreciated...so I had the choice of posting, real quick, or going potty...Posting won! Luckily, I still have my "nurse bladder", and can go long stretches...
I find I am letting sweets creep into my day...and sweets were never my "thing"...Not sure what's the deal, but need to stop it NOW! I am going to forego my am shakes, this week, and TRY to get Oscar (my grouch pouch) to accept solid food...I'm wondering if I'm not triggering some "sweet gene", or something, between my shake, coffee creamer, fruit, etc. It's really only been happening the past week or so, but I have already RECOGNIZED it, as a problem
QOTD: I laughed, when I read the topic, because I was eating eggs, at that very minute...which I haven't had, for breakfast, in forever. I nearly always keep some boiled/ready to eat, but rarely do much else. DAISY got me started on deviled eggs, during the last CAMAW. Today I pan fried them, with a little EVOO
B: 2 eggs
L: Chicken/Broccoli
S: Beef Jerky
D: Chicken/Asparagus
S: Greek Yogurt
W: Gallon (half already in-yay me!)
E: Power walk/run, after the sun goes down - have 4 mile route staked out

So when I read this... on the heels of John's post about Cadbury eggs... I read "7 short peeps" and all I could think was that I was surprised you were eating peeps (and I didn't know they made little ones!)...
Then I realized you meant little peoples and I had to laugh

I have my two-year follow-up (a month late...) with my bariatric surgeon this afternoon. Since I started out SMO, he's going to be dancing in the streets when he sees me! Last year I was around 180 at this time, and even then he was really happy!
Accountability: I was 100 calories over budget yesterday, although I didn't eat anything particularly bad. Just a bit too much of the "good" stuff. I'd planned to have steak for dinner last night, but I really wanted plain Greek yogurt with a scoop of Syntrax Peanut Butter Cookie powder mixed in, so that's what I had. Otherwise, stuck to plan...
QOTD: I'm not a huge egg eater. Sometimes we'll buy a dozen for something or other and half of them will sit in my fridge for weeks. I had six in there the other day, so I hard-boiled them this weekend and made some yummy egg salad (with cottage cheese, mustard, bacon, and Everything But the Bagel spice)
2 years 1 month out (maintenance):
B: homemade Greek yogurt, pomegranate seeds
S: coffee with half & half, lemon/strawberry/fresh mint protein/Miralax shake (this thing is actually pretty damn good!)
L: probably just a protein bar since I'm headed from work right to the clinic....
D: either steak or an egg salad sandwich (made with a Flat Out FlipIt)
probably another Greek yogurt or protein pudding pop in there somewhere...
