It was a beautiful weekend here so did get some sunshine and some rays outside. My girlfriend came over for a night time swim last night so that was fun.

Accountability: not that I'm eating cake or cookies, but my food is all over the place. Didn't eat my dinner instead a cheese and a protein drink. i'm still doing some unplanned bedtime eating.

L QOTD: I eat eggs all different ways, if I make them at home. I'm hesitant to order them out because they're too dry and rubbery, so I always order them "soft"

B: latte with fair life/MCT oil/miralax steak and one egg

L: Cobb salad

D: salmon, sautéed spinach

S: cheese crisps, protein drink tbd, iced coffee w/vanilla premier protein

Good Morning everyone!

I've been 'gone' far too long! With being in Austin, to say my schedule was off would be an understatement... to say I'm glad to be back is also an understatement. I did peek in from time to time, but I just cannot stand to post from my phone... and my phone was all I was using most of the time down there. By the time I'd get back to my little apartment, I was far too exhausted to pull out the laptop.

Accountability... well that went out the window. I did try really hard to eat on plan as much as I could, but by the end of the 10 days, I was dreaming of homecooked food. I will never understand why hospitals send 'complimentary' sandwiches to the patient's families along with a plate FULL of chips!!!!! I tried to order without the chips, but that never worked, and my resolve failed me after so many orders. I did eat the meat/cheese/lettuce/tomatoes without the bread, or with 1/4 slice, depending on my mood... but by the end of it, those chips were jumping into my mouth at a high rate of speed! Damn, chips are my kryptonite!

This weekend I made a chilidog casserole, fajita meat, and ribs... I have a bag of shrimp I'll cook tonight... and there are cheese stuffed meatballs in my near future... it feels good to be back - with NO chips in site!

QOTD: Eggs... They still fill me up quickly, and remind me that pure protein is the most filling thing out there... I like the over medium, scrambled, deviled, in breakfast muffins and as an omelette... I like them as long as the white is NOT runny, and the yellow is firm but still has a little run in it. I used to like them over easy, but I can't do that anymore... and I like, in part, it's because I don't have the yummy toast to sop up all that yellow!

Weighed in this morning at 138.8. Not bad for 2 weeks of eating out and not making the best choices I could have. I'm not unhappy, but am thinking about extending my stretch goal a few more pounds... maybe down to 130? I'm very happy with how I look right now, I'm wearing 6's and 8's, Med and Small shirts, and I feel good here... but I don't want to be any heavier as year two sneaks by, so...

B: chili dog casserole - 4 ounces

L: 2 ribs, 3.5 ounces of meat

S: Cheese stick

D: Shrimp, not sure how I'll cook them just yet

S: My beloved latte!

All that visit time and I never made it to come see you! Arggg. I hate that I missed you. Not being able to drive really threw me off. I drove myself to work this morning though so I am available now if needed.
