QOTD: I spent summers at the beach, so pick a summer I'd love the beach. I don't go to the beach as much as adult, but I have my backyard and my inground swimming pool that I call my little piece of paradise. I do miss the days when my son was younger and there was a lot more activity of kids in the pool, and I did a lot more entertaining. Anyone want to come hang at the pool just message me I'm here.

Accountability: after waking up yesterday to a grazing frenzy, I pulled my self together, ate normally the rest of the day and drink lots of fluids. Overall, I was still within my calorie range just the high-end of it. I wasn't eating cake, but it's the mental thing sometimes of knowing you're not in control. Really don't know why I woke up wanting to eat because I usually don't eat in the morning. Scale was kind to me this morning and I was actually down so, there you go.

My challenge right now seems to be, no matter what I've eaten I want to eat a little something literally right before I go to bed. I may need to go back to planning my spoon of peanut butter from the jar scenario. Because if I start messing too much with stuff I eat more than I want. I always say this is a constant evaluation, then I say will maybe I'm not eating enough during the day, but that doesn't seem to matter I still want a little something right before bed

Pre-did my menu on MFP yesterday, because I said I can't have a day like that again.

B: coffee latte with fair life/MCT oil/MiraLAX

Fried egg with sliced avocado

S: iced coffee with one vanilla Premier protein

Kirkland protein bar (at church)

L: Turkey bacon cheese melt

D: T- Bone steak and spinach

Snacks if needed: protein drink tbd, PB on spoon at bedtime

We had an in-ground pool when our kids were growing up too. We hosted swimming lessons in the pool for friends and neighbors. It was great having all the kids there and we always knew who our kids were hanging out with.

Would love to hang out at your pool if I lived closer! Our new neighbours have a pool and have invited us over but I'm not quite comfortable with that idea yet. We do love our new neighbourhood. The neighbours are so friendly. So many came up and introduced themselves as we were moving in.

yesterday was super busy - hopefully today will be more relaxing. I need to run over to my mom's in a bit to buy tickets to Denver. Then I'll meet my husband for coffee and hopefully I'll be able to make a dent in the Sunday paper. DH and I have a hair appt at 1:00, then hopefully yoga at 5:00.

Accountability: I ended up going over a bit on my calories yesterday (I knew the day was already going to be tight to begin with, so I didn't have much wiggle room). I had lunch at a Mexican place with two friends and did something I rarely do anymore - ate some of the chips and salsa. I also had a chocolate craving last night, so I had two SF/FF fudgesicles. I normally have enough slack in my calorie budget that a SF/FF fudgesicle or two are not a problem, but last night wasn't one of those nights. So - I was over budget. Not horribly, but still - not happy. Will do better today.

QOTD: I can't think of any one single thing - summers in general were always wonderful. Going to the pool and/or riding bikes every day (or both), playing hide & seek with all the neighborhood kids after dark, going to the beach, taking vacations, picking strawberries - I love everything about summer (except when it gets over 90 degrees - ugh!!!)

2 years 1 month out (maintenance)

B: homemade Greek yogurt, pomegranate seeds

S: coffee with half & half, SF protein mocha latte

L: either chili or egg salad (made with cottage cheese! Thanks, Liz!) on a Flat Out FlipIt

D: 2-3 oz sirloin steak with mushroom sauce, salad

ex: hopefully a yoga class tonight

Good morning,

Change in church schedule for the summer so I don't have to leave so early.

Accountability besides the doughnuts. I didn't have my shrimp since i didn't eat dinner really late. I had the salad with my cheeseburger.

QOTD I would go to girl scout camp for 2 weeks and my family always went camping when I was a kid.

B spinach, red pepper, ham and cheese omelette and string cheese

L tuna and cottage cheese

D sirloin tip roast and some kind of vegetable

S shrimp
