Well you can't make the ticker reflects under goal. But as you you see many people write other things in the signature, there's a space for that. So you can just write as of 07/17 16 pounds under goal or whatever it is.

I don't know what the top end of a normal BMI is for your height, but many people make that their goal. And then take it a few pounds at a time from there and see where you want to end up.

I just kept making new goals. I'm way under my original goal (175), but I wanted the ticker to keep reflecting all the weight I lost, so I just kept changing the goal....

Good morning! We were supposed to have a mostly cloudy day yesterday and it ended up being beautiful! We went to the beach and probably will today too (we take advantage of the good weather days here in the summer).

Accountability: Not bad most of the day, but I did have some bread not planned for. I did finally have some of the innards of a great lobster roll shared with DH!

QOTD: My best memories are of the beach, specifically of Beach Haven in NJ. My parents would rent a cottage there with family friends a few houses from the ocean every summer (when we lived in PA). The beaches are beautiful there. I loved the boats my father would make from paper milk cartons that we would pull around in the water with a string tied to the front.

15 months post-op, in maintenance:

B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese

L: egg salad made with cottage cheese and pickles

D: Probably the top off of pizza (going out to dinner with friends)

S: nut thins/hummus, yogurt

Oh, I would LOVE to live near a beach! I live smack dab in the middle of Nebraska. My town is exactly 1,733 miles to either coast! I've been to the beach twice in my life. Once when I was 8 years old in Florida and once in 2004 in Maryland. I loved both trips!

Any ponds or lakes? I'd do okay with those beaches too. Pools work for me in a pinch. I do love the water (maybe because I'm a Pisces?). Great job on your weight loss btw!

When we go to the beach it's always to a lake. Living in Ontario, we are surrounded by the Great Lakes. And while there's nothing like the ocean, I will take whatever beach I can.

Morning Family!... Sunday again and getting ready for two weeks of craziness at work with people being out who's jobs I do while they are out on top of my own but all is good! Today is chores around the house and breakfast/lunch prep for the week. Plus my daughter comes home for two nights! Will be nice to see her even if it is only for a couple of days then on Tuesday she flies back to DC...

Accountability: I did really well yesterday and actually did not end up eating popcorn. At the race track we go to it is owned by some family friends and when I was going to get my popcorn I ran into my friend and he was eating an apple and had another one in his hand and I jokingly said you know you don't need two of those and he said your right have one. So I had an apple instead of popcorn. Score kind of!

QOTD: All my childhood memories are around the races my dad racing three nights a week growing up we were always at a race track or working on cars so there was always people at our house. We have just started going back to the races again and I love it brings back so many memories and seeing so many old friends again.

Food for the day:

B: Cheese and sausage omelet and coffee

L: BBQ chicken

D: Steak

S: Almonds

Have a good Sunday everyone!!

Quick post today before I get to church. Lily and I have our 3.2 miles in already and will do another mile after supper somewhere. Heading out after church to be gone for a week camping. Going to a cowboy shoot in Kentucky Thursday through Saturday and wandering through Ohio before then. We'll be back next Sunday or Monday. Post op 4 years 10.5 months and weight at 118 today. Food was good yesterday as I was so busy packing there was no time to snack. Being occupied really seems to keep my mind off food. Here's the food plan for maintenance today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L crab salad 2 sticks celery D 1/2 c tuna salad and celery sticks S P3 Pak. I'll see you when we get home in a week. Make those choices every day that get you to your goal and keep you there. Later!

Good morning :)

Yesterday we ended up sleeping in which never happens because the puppies are usually up early. Felt like the whole day was off. We went to the store and got some lumber to build shelves to organize the basement. I have too much stuff ;) I will probably sort things and make a load to donate today.

Accountability: I had one slice of pastry last night. We have decided to toss everything that is left. DH weighed himself last night and he has gained 6-8 pounds since the wedding. He wasn't happy, so I asked if he was okay with tossing the remaining food.

QOTD: I love summers. My birthday is in the summer and I always got to travel in the summer. Usually we would go to the cottage. One summer my grandpa broke his arm up there. He had to go for surgery and spent a month in the hospital. I spent that month up there with my grandma.

Breakfast - protein shake

Snack - egg, pickles

Lunch - ham, cheese

Snack - pepperette, yogurt

Dinner - ribs, veg

Snack - protein shake

All water and vits.
