Morning everyone!

The weather ended up pretty decent yesterday, so we were able to give a push in the garden. My parents are entertaining this afternoon, so I made a dessert for their dinner, and I'll give a push getting things ready before I head to the city to pick hubs up at the airport!

Accountability: i didn't have a great plan yesterday, but there were lots of protein options, so I was fine.

qotd: what's your favourite summertime memory? One of mine is from during hay season when there were still quite a few cousins/uncles etc who came home to work the farm. And I would help my grandmother and my aunt cook and prepare meals for the men. They made homemade bread, roasts, salads, pies etc a full spread, every day! It was also a time when summers felt endless.

Menu:

its all up in the air really, and a bit of a guess

B: fried egg and ham

L: tbd on when I head back

D: I'll probably pick something up at the butcher when I get back in the city and BBQ.

S: premiere protein

have a great day everyone!

Good morning!

QOTD: I was a camp kid, and spent summers in Maine--swimming canoeing, playing sports, putting on plays, and doing arts and crafts. It was idyllic :)

Not 1000% sure about today's menu. Probably mostly leftovers from last night's cookout--steak, green salad & potato salad. There is a lot of green salad leftover so I'll probably add some nice grilled chicken to it and end up eating it all week :)

Here is your daily kitten pic.

Good Morning Insert Fitness and Menu Family!

QOTD: One of my favorite Summertime memories was staying with my grandparents and helping my grandmother pick gooseberries and then she would make gooseberry pie. In the evening we would catch fireflies and put them in a jar with holes in the lid and she would let us go to sleep with them on our bedside table flashing off and on. I remember the one summer when we watched the men landing on the moon on TV with my grandparents! (Yes, I'm THAT old!)

Accountability: Yesterday's totals: Protein - 48, Calories - 1,055, Carbs - 120.

Today:

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks

L: Birdseye Voila Garlic chicken

D: lettuce, chicken, avocado, low cal dressing

S: light & fit Greek yogurt

Exercise: Walking Blossom around the subdivision

Have a WONDERFUL day everyone!

~ Karen

Thank you, Cynthia! Actually I set my "goal" pretty high because when I weighed 283, the thought of getting down to 180 sounded unbelievable, but now I'm 16 pounds below that (164) and hoping to continue to lose some more. I don't know how to change my ticker to show that I'm under goal, though.
