Protein shakes or drinks frozen into popsicles?
I made popsicles and ice cream and little protein cubes/drops. Triple digit temps here LOL been living on stuff like that. Here's my favorite version of popsicles: http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2012/06/how-t o-make-protein-popsicles.html

On Eggface, thank you! This looks wonderful! I have some Greek yogurt in the fridge (I bought it but it hadn't yet appealed to me), but will have to pick up some Torani flavors. Then watch out!
Triple digits here, too. I'm in CA too, in the Santa Barbara area. Yesterday I opened the back door to water my plants - I'd been comfortably hanging out in the air conditioning all day. Couldn't believe how hot, utterly dry, and hazy it was. It was like the atmosphere of Dune! Virtually no humidity, 104 degrees, breezy- Yikes! Fire conditions for sure! There are 2 fires burning in my county right now. I can see columns of smoke rising from the closest one, and the air is full of haze. It started yesterday afternoon and has already burned 7800 acres. (Note to non-Californians: we had a much-needed rainy winter season, but the luxuriant growth that spurred is now just more tinder.) A friend of mine is under mandatory evacuation. I am in town and feel quite safe, but it is disturbing just the same. I really feel for the wildlife. Structures have been destroyed, but the fire is still in a sparsely inhabited area, and on one side is spreading into Los Padres National Forest. I am always so impressed by the sheer physical bravery of the firefighters! They are amazing.
My greek yogurt I eat for breakfast partially froze last week because it was up against the wall of my fridge and I ate it with blueberries--was DELISH! I will have to try making popsicles out of it--would definitely be better than the ones I've been eating.
