Protein shakes or drinks frozen into popsicles?

I tried searching for this answer, but came to no conclusion. I am finding it hard to get enough protein in, and wonder if it would be more palatable frozen into popsicles. I have both Bariatric Fusion protein powders and Atkins Lift clear(ish) protein drinks. If any of you have made popsicles with these types of protein drinks, please let me know. Thank you.

I haven't made popsicles with the ones you mentioned but I have made them from Syntrax Nectar protein powders and they worked great. The fuzzy navel is my favorite...tastes like peaches and oranges. I think I'll go make some now!

Thanks Kelsey! People here frequently mention the fuzzy navel. It sounds good! I'll have to try it. I started drinking The Atkins Lift protein drink (90 calories, 20 grams of protein, 0 net carbs) because it is "clear" rather than super milky, plus it was convenient to buy. The regular protein powders were causing me some disturbance when I was on all liquids which the clear doesn't, but I find the clear harder to drink - it has a weird, slightly curdled feel, and a bizarre astringency. Anyway, I am going to freeze myself one Cappucino/Cinnamon Buns popsicle and one of the orange Lifts. The cappuccino and the cinnamon buns powders are tasty so fingers crossed that popsicle will be too!

I wish I could find the orange Lift here, just to try it. The only one I've seen so far was the berry flavor and it was not good. The aftertaste on it was gross to me. I tried the Fuzzy Navel on recommendations from people here and it's way way way good. Roadside Lemonade isn't bad either but the Fuzzy Navel wins hands down.

Amazon carries Lift, with Prime delivery. To be honest, it's not very good, but it was the only clear(ish) protein drink I could find at the time. I will definitely pick up some Nectar Fuzzy Navel, it sounds lovely! both of the Nectars - Fuzzy Navel and Roadside Lemonade - deserve to have some exceptionally attractive packaging - the names are so cool! I am into beautiful packaging.

This is going back almost 9 years but I remember that when I had the Lapband, I used to turn clear Isopure drinks into popsicles. It didn't make them taste any better (ew those were gross!) but I enjoyed a different way of getting in the clear liquid protein.

The regular Isopure and Isotech42 are still kinda funky - the 42 is just strongly flavored. Iso1000 is actually really good...prior to surgery if I forgot my protein shake at home I would stop at the vitamin shoppe and grab one out of the cooler

About the only "food" (though I know it's counted as a liquid) I haven't developed at least a mild distaste for are sugar-free popsicles. Everything else I've had thus far (I'm on soft foods) has been good for a while, then becomes vaguely disgusting. Thus my hope for popsicles! I think I will enjoy them too - though I'll take your advice and avoid making them with clear Isopure! Thanks JuniperBerry!

I've made it into popsicles, too. I've also taken SF/FF pudding mix, added some unsweetened cashew or almond milk and about four scoops of protein powder and frozen that into popsicles as well.

That sounds good! I have yet to add almond, cashew or flax milk into my post-op diet, same for SF/FF pudding mix. But it sounds really very good.. Thanks for the tip, Catwoman7!
