Blossom does okay with thunderstorms, it's just the fireworks that freak her out. She didn't seem disturbed about being "drunk". She was wagging her tail and wanting attention and "smiling" and seemed happy. I'm glad the crate and blanket work for Lily. Poor babies.

Looks like my pups when I brought them home from their spay/neuter surgeries. They were very happy those nights ;) well other than missing some of their bits.

accountability was OK yesterday. At the Thai place last night, my friend and I split a chicken satay appetizer and a green papaya salad. Perfect combo and perfect amount of food! Back down under 142 this morning - thank God!!

I ended up in the ER yesterday afternoon with my second bout with TGA (Transient Global Amnesia). My mind blanked out for two hours (which was better than when I had it eight years ago - then it was four hours, and I was admitted to the hospital). This time I knew what it was, and they agreed after checking a few things and consulting with the neurologist on duty, so I didn't have to go through all tests I did the first time (EEG, EKG, lumbar puncture, CT scan, MRI). I have an EEG scheduled for this afternoon to make sure it wasn't anything more serious. I'm just hoping against hope that I don't have to surrender my drivers license again this time. Last time I had to give it up for four months (state law). It was a huge pain, but it'll be infinitely harder if they do it this time because eight years ago DH and I both worked at the university and had pretty much the same hours (8:00-ish to 4:30-ish), whereas now he works out in the 'burbs and works mostly evenings and weekends. I still work downtown and mostly normal business hours. Not sure how we're going to coordinate this if I have to give up driving. Ugh. Well, we'll see. Hopefully the law has changed. I doubt it, but...

2 years 1 month (maintenance):

B: homemade Greek yogurt, fresh raspberries

S: protein shake, decaf coffee with half & half (no caffeine until after the EEG - boo!)

L: meeting a friend - so no sure. Something safe.

D: maybe chili (unless my salmon filet thaws out really quickly!!)

probably another Greek yogurt or SF protein pudding pop later

WOW, so sorry to hear about that! Good luck with the EEG. I sure hope they don't make you give up your driver's license!

Holy cow! So sorry you are going through this again! If you do need to give up your license do you have UBER where you live? I've never need to use it but I believe that it is less expensive than using a cab. Sorry I don't live close to you so I could help out with rides.
