Hi everyone happy Friday!!! YAY! Weekend is here! Who has fun plans for the weekend? We are going to Costco tonight, tomorrow is gym and taking the dogs to a local creek for a swim and Sunday some Mall shopping and lots of coffee LOL Photo Friday today gang, open topic, post whatever you want!
Accountability: stayed on plan yesterday and last night. I had to white knuckle my way in the evening to stay out of the kitchen snacking. Every time I wanted junk I made myself another decaf coffee, needless to say I am very hydrated LOL
QOTD: What's the last parking ticket or violation you got? Me its probably been about 25 years since I got a parking ticket where my meter ran out and it was pretty cheap BUT hubby came home from baseball on Tuesday night and tells me he got a $175 parking ticket for parking in a tow away zone, it was a fire escape route. I was not pleased and asked why the hell did he do that and his answer... "well the rest of the team did it too." Oh ya that just made me more mad. And for the record all of the team got parking tickets, I am sure the parking attendant made $5K that night!!!

Morning gang!
its been a bear of a week, and I'm looking forward to some downtime! Will head to the farm at some point, hope to get stuff done around the house.
qotd: my last one was 90$! I was going out to brunch during winter a couple of years ago, and parked near a ball field. Now, it did say no parking, access road or something, but in my defence, it was a locked access gate for a ball field, blocked by 2 feet of snow! No way that's used in winter right? Ugh. Still bitter.
accountability: plans changed, but will protein forward. not the best foods though, protein shake, chili, jerky and sunflower seeds. Sounds even worse when I type it hahah.
photos are from Canada Day and the picnic on the bridge! So much fun! And despite iffy weather, had a great time!

Morning all - quick post as I'm leaving for a day-long regional staff meeting 1.5+ hours from my office.
Accountability: Good yesterday, hope today goes as well.
QOTD: Believe it or not, in 42 years of driving I don't think I've ever gotten any kind of parking/traffic ticket. The closest I came was a warning a few years ago. We were on vacation & I saw the flashing lights behind me ugh! I was going 30 but it was a school zone. I truly did not see the sign. I was nearly in tears (real, not fake) and shaking so bad that the officer just gave me a warning. I do tend to drive faster than I should and DH is always telling me I'm going to get nailed one of these times, but that one was a legit mistake. It was going through a small town and I always try to be careful in those cases.
B: protein coffee
L: Provided at staff meeting - hopefully they will have good choices, but I have a Quest bar in case of emergency
D: Ham Steak
S: Not sure - going for groceries after work

I'm glad it is Friday as I take them off in the summer. I only had a 1.5 day work week and that was great! I need to retire soon... This weekend we will probably do our usual summer activities: beach and cook on the grill. But tonight, if weather permits, we are going to get a lobster roll at a place we like to have them at on the harbor. It is outside seating though and the forecast is iffy so we will see. It is hard to get around on weekends on Cape Cod in the summer so we don't go out to eat as often. We go to the beach and out to dinner really early to beat the crowds.
Accountability: I did fairly well, with some substitutions but they were good ones. I've lost the vacation weight (wasn't much).
QOTD: I received a warning while in Florida in March. I was returning from bringing SILs to the airport and I didn't slow down in a school zone. I was unfamiliar with the area, using the GPS and didn't notice the signs. Luckily he just issued a warning so there was nothing to pay.
B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese
L: egg salad made with cottage cheese and pickles
D: insides of lobster roll (I hope)
S: nut thins/hummus, yogurt
Picture is of the harbor in front of my DS's memorial bench (I was sitting on it when I took the picture last weekend):
