Good morning :)

Today I have a meeting with my advisor. She wants to meet weekly to discuss our progress and stay on track for the coming year. I just applied for a one year leave of absence so I'm hoping that goes through soon.

Last night I played soccer. It's a very social setup. It's one group of women and we split into two teams based on shirt colour. We played for about 1.5 hours with two water breaks. I can't believe I can even think about keeping up. I still have my fat-girl brain.

Accountability: I was craving salt last night so I had a few kettle chips. Then I had this pudding dessert thing and some SF chocolate. I did not feel well when I went to bed.

QOTD: I know cpr/first aid but I think my certificate has expired. Thankfully I have never had to use any of it. It's a weird situation but at school we are part of a union and part of the agreement is that we get free training.

Breakfast - protein shake

Snack - egg, pickles

Lunch - ham, cheese

Snack - pepperette, yogurt

Dinner - burgers and veg

Snack - protein shake (I didn't think of this before, but I use a 1/2 scoop of powder in the morning and a 1/2 at night, so it's really only one per day)

All water and vits.

We're finally supposed to get a little rain today - hope so, we could sure use it and then they are calling for near perfect weather for the weekend.

Accountability: Pretty good - I'll leave it at that.

QOTD: I work in a hospital, but non-clinical setting so it's not required. The last class I had was about 6 years ago. In a real situation, I think I would probably only attempt on a loved one if there was no-one else around that was more qualified.

B: Protein coffee

L: 2 red beat eggs, 1C watermelon

S: 1/2 C Greek LnF Yogurt, 1T PB2, 1/2 scoop protein powder

D: 3-4 oz. baked chicken

S: 3 oz. ham (maybe if I add a planned snack in the evening I can control the evening munchies!

E: 60+ minutes on the eliptical

Surgery Date June 3, 2016

Hello Menu Family... Not saying it is a good day.. One year ago today my mom passed away so today is sad day for me. I am working a half day because my mom would be pissed if I took a whole day off from work both her and my dad instilled a strong work ethic in me and this would not be a reason to waste a vacation day! Later on we are all going up to the cemetery and freshening up the flowers and my daughter and nieces are sending her some balloons with some notes...Then we will all go out to dinner and share some great and I am sure not so great memories but we will do it as a family so that is all that matters.

Accountability: Was fine until dinner and because we did not eat until 9pm last night I ended up eating a 1/2 a ham and cheese sandwich on wheat bread. My daughter had an issue with her car and we had to go rescue her.

QOTD: Used to be CPR certified but have kind of let it slide I really should go back and get recertified.

FOOD for today:

B: Bacon and watermelon and coffee

L: do not know leaving work at noon so I think a dunkin snack wrap and an ice tea. My mom loved Dunkin Donuts coffee and my daughter has requested that we pick up one to bring to the cemetery so I guess if I am there who am I got argue right?

D: PROTIEN PROTIEN PROTIEN.. I will eat protein.

I hope everyone has a great day and please for me.... Tell someone you love them because you never know when it will be to late and I promise tomorrow I will return to my smart aleck self... Or I hope to!

I'm sorry this is such a sad day for you. Sending hugs and prayers for you and for your family. I hope your time together strengthens your relationships and brings back some good memories. Your mom would be so proud of all the hard work you've done to take back your health.
