One-year surgiversary!
One year ago, I started this amazing journey! I had my one-year post-op appointment today, and I lost another 20 lbs. since my March appointment. I have lost 160 lbs. in a year.
My surgeon was so happy with my progress. I think I am going to shoot for another 50 lbs., and then, I'll be at goal. I'm so happy with my progress this year. I feel great, and my quality of life is so much better than it was prior to last year.
Even though I was in a lot of pain this time last year and had a hard time adjusting to the new diet, I would do it again in a heartbeat.
