  • In Dec 2015 I was in a rear end collison from which I sustained whiplash...and had a cat scan that revealed possible hiatal hernia... I have gained about 40 lbs and suffer again from hurting & frothing w my food....is it possible my rouen-y could hv been compromised from the seatbelt.? I had maintained mybweight so well for The 10 years..just can't get it back down...also now I experience acid reflux which i stopped having after my surgery .

I'm so sorry you were in an accident. I hope your doctor can find out what the problem is. Good luck.

Well that hernia can definitely cause reflux.

And, additionally, acid reflux can imitate hunger which can cause weight gain.
