What's on your Menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?
Thanks for spelling my name correctly! :) I'm so used to people spelling it Tina. When I'm giving people info to fill in forms, I never say either name - they sound like they're spelled Tina Days so if I just say it, that's how it's getting entered. I spell both lol.

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.
77 lbs lost and counting!
Losing the regain! I got this!
Good morning :)
Nothing planned out for today but a bunch of things on what seems to be an ever-growing to do list. At some point I have to get some work done as I have a meeting on Thursday to discuss my progress on a couple projects. I have been procrastinating so badly -- I even spent yesterday organizing our basement rather than doing this work.
Accountability: I had a protein bar and a slice of pastry yesterday. The carb monster is in full effect these days.
QOTD: we have been buying 1/4 cows from a nearby farm. I have enjoyed trying the different cuts. I think the t-bone and prime rib cuts are good. We usually run through the steaks and then have to figure out what to do with the ground beef and roasts ;)
Breakfast - protein shake
Snack - egg, cheese
Lunch - turkey sausage
Snack - Greek yogurt
Dinner - ham and veg
Snack - protein shake
All water and vits.
We've done it twice so far. I start clearing out the freezer, defrost it, and then pick up the 1/4 cow. Then I start restocking again. We just have to sort of manage how we eat it so we aren't stuck eating just ground beef for a month at the end lol. I do love not ground beef because we ate a lot of it when I was a kid.
Happy 4th menu folks !
I was just now watching the local news covering the big hot dog eating contest at Coney Island. I'm sorry but that's not a sport, it's just disgusting.
I've been on an antipasto kick this whole weekend. Salami/smoked meat or sausage/cheese /marinated veggies. I might make some shrimp ceviche today.
QOTD: definitely Strip aka NY steak aka sirloin. Preferably prime cut and if I'm extra picky, also dry-aged.
Morning! Happy 4th! We have family coming over today for BBQ and fireworks,,,weather permitting. It has been raining all night and the forecast does not look promising.
QOTD- We were not big steak eaters before my surgery. My dh didn't like it all that much, and it's so expensive to buy for a big family, so it was usually something I'd get of we were eating out. Now I fix steak on the kids' weekly pizza night and I have been perfecting my steak making and learning the different cuts. :) And my husband has converted. So far I think my favorite cut is a rib eye.
B- There is a piece of yesterday's quiche in the fridge, and some cantaloupe.
L-S-D- I am going to eat my quiche late in the day and then hold out for BBQ. :) Lots of goodies are happening. For me, cherries and watermelon, ribs, brats, and coleslaw are happening.

Good Morning Daisy and Menu Family!
Happy Independence Day to my USA friends!
We had our family celebration last night with a barbecue, playing cards and an amazing fireworks display.
Accountability: I ate a cupcake with fruit on the top and a small piece of the cherry cake I made to bring to the barbecue. Besides those two things I ate well the rest of the day.
QOTD: Not sure if this is a steak, but Prime Rib is my all time favorite! I also love Rib-eye steak.
My menu for today:
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks
L: Birdseye Voila cheesy ranch chicken
D: lettuce, chicken, avocado, low cal dressing
S: light & fit Greek yogurt
Exercise: Walking Blossom around the subdivision
Have a FANTASTIC Day everyone!
~ Karen

Morning RNY'ers! I'm off today and took advantage by starting the day with a run. Today is normally a gym day but it's closed tonight. And I needed to clear my head anyway cause the scale is being a b%#^*. Ugh. I'm eating how I should, so only thing I think I need to reevaluate is fruit. I eat one piece a day to every other day. (Pear, apple, banana or pineapple are my preferred picks). I think I'll limit eating fruits to days when I run going forward. I felt like yelling back at the scale "but I haven't even touched the damn pie!" Lol. I'm going to do another DEXA scan to see if there was some shift in my distribution of weight. I've gotten an increasing # of compliments lately- whereas I thought they'd die down by now. Its confusing me cause weight has been constant over the last year.
accountability: exceeded my 55g carb goal, was at 68. No 'bad' choices, this is just hard! Nothing fancy planned today- so i don't anticipate any issues. I wouldn't mind an ice cream cone- but Ill stick with yogurt and pretend.
qotd: my go to is t-bone, but I try and branch out and try different cuts. I'm not well versed in meat cuts.
200 today (making a 2.6 #overnight 'gain') 26 months out
m1 egg beaters, cheese turkey sausage and everything bagel spice
m2/3 grilled turkey &/or beef/chorizo burgers
m4: yogurt w/ berries
