Hi menu crew! Happy Independence Day my friends! Had a wonderful long weekend, I need more of these 3 day weekends for sure! How is everyone spending today? Are you off or working? Anything special planned? We are getting tons of sun and warm but not crazy hot weather, sun does so much for the whole body, and I have been trying to stay outside as much as I can!

Accountability: My weekend eating was great, I stuck to what I wrote in MFP. But there was one discretion, our neighbour brought us over "Canada Day" cupcakes and at first I said no thanks but she insisted we take 2 "for later." Groan.... so I let it sit for a few hours and then caved and 3/4 of it. The CRAZY thing is that it didn't even taste good (it was dry and not very good) yet I ate it. WTH?? What a waste of calories LOL LOL

QOTD: Favorite cut of steak? We had T-bones last night for dinner and it was exceptionally delicious!!! I have always said that filet mignon is my fav steak but last night that T-bone was so good I might change my mind, mmmmm steak!

Happy Independence Day in the US! I'm off today (our company also gave us yesterday as a holiday). The weather is supposed to be great (again - it was yesterday as well), so I suspect there will be time at the beach. I need to return to accountable eating though (no more cookouts). The fireworks in our town are tonight, but I have to go in the office tomorrow so they are too late for me.

Accountability: Good when not at a cookout, but not so good there. Though I don't eat a ton of anything (like I would have in the past), I do have a little of lots of things that I normally wouldn't. But I have learned not to beat myself up over that, but to just get back on plan the next morning.

QOTD: I would have said that filet mignon was my favorite too, but we had wonderful NY strip steak at my SIL's cookout last night. It had great flavor and was really tender.

15 months out, maintenance diet:

B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese

L: HB egg with cottage cheese

D: leftover swordfish

S: cheese sticks, yogurt

Good morning!

I'm super excited this morning! Not sure if Daisy has her new phone yet but both she and Erin got an excited text from me this morning- 199.7! I know I have not been under 200 in about 22-23 years. That's 95 lbs total loss as of today.

QOTD: I pretty much just love steak but ribeye is my favourite- followed by T-Bone and filet mignon. Just please don't overcook my steak!!

Menu- B: protein shake

L: Skyr yogurt

Possibly a trip to the salad bar. Our fridge was bare of leftovers.

D: Chicken thighs and roasted veggies.

Exercise- Chelsie and I are starting Piyo with Chalene Johnson tonight. Looking forward to that.

Enjoy your day everyone!

Edited to include my scale pic lol
