What's on your Monday menu RNYers?
Good morning! Hope everyone had a great weekend. I'm on vacation this week and will be pretty busy because we adopted a kitten on Saturday. His name is Sascautch and he only has three legs. He got the name because he had an infection in his leg that caused his leg to be swollen, "big foot" that required amputation. He gets around pretty and seems to be adjusting well. Ruppert has taken to him well and my Twinkie girl (my kitty that's almost 14) is warming up to him. He's primarily Emily's cat, but at the moment I'm babysitting because he was ready to wake ion and she wasn't.

Hey there gang. Still recovering from plastics, so sitting with my feet up right now. I have to say that the worst thing about plastics is the F-ing drains. Grrr.
IFQOTD: my husband has a Primo grill. It's similar to the green egg, as ours insulated ceramic, but this brand is made in the US. It was really, really expensive, but we use it a lot. He uses it as a smoker and a grill. To me, it makes no difference, but he loves his grill.
23 months since surgery tomorrow!
I haven't planned my food today, though I'm logging as I go. This surgery has killed my appetite, which is a good thing. So far today I have had a light and fit greek yogurt, a handful of Mary's gone superseed crackers and some coffee.
I'm about rummage around for lunch now.
Have a great.

accountability: my calories were higher than I'd like usually, but all wls friendly stuff. I'm looking at you Brie!
qotd: I'm thinking of surprising my husband with a new grill for his birthday. He's been talking a lot about switching from propane to charcoal. What do you all use? Is a fancier grill a better grill? Does anyone use those green eggs?
todays a holiday, so the menu and plans for the day are pretty lazy:
B: premiere protein
L/D: whatever leftovers I find....
have a great one gang!
Well, let's see IF.... I have 2 propane grills, 5 charcoal grills/smokers and one barrel smokers! LOL! A fancier grill does not make a better grill at all. It all comes down to quality of the workmanship and burners for propane grills. In my opinion Weber is among the best. You most certainly can buy one of their grills with all the bells and whistles but they also make basic grills that are less expensive. Basic or fancy, all of their grills are great. However you do pay for that quality and the smaller ones start out at around $400.00. For charcoal grills I also go with Weber as well. I do own a Stainless Steel JennAir propane grill that love but it is about 20 years old and I don't believe they are in business any longer and over the years the quality of their grill went down hill. Also customer service at Weber is incredible! They are friendly and very knowledgeable. I don't have a pic with all of my grills together but this one has most of them. I hope you find what you are looking for. Let me know if I can help you with anything.
