What's on your Monday menu RNYers?
Good morning menu folks! I'm posting from Vacationland. We decided at the last minute to take off and have a short vacation over the holiday. Because we are eating out, my menus are up in the air. But I am eating as much seafood as possible while I'm here, so that is okay. I had scallops and salmon yesterday and there will be at least one crab cake on the menu today. I LOVE seafood, so being on the Bay is a great place to be.
Yesterday we went to the Calvert Marine Museum and took a harbor cruise, which was fun. Also we stopped on the way down to play miniature golf. What a blast! I'm not good at it, but I enjoyed myself greatly and hope to play again soon. It still surprises me that an athletic activity is so much fun after all those years of sedentary life!
Today will include several walks, some pool time, lots of relaxation and more seafood, so life is good! I woke up early and went to the hotel gym for a run and some weights while my wife slept in so my official exercise is already done for the day.
QOTD: we haven't been grilling yet this year, but I'd like to do some soon. We have a propane grill that I like because I'm not fond of using charcoal.
Menu is rather up in the air because of eating out, but we got some snacks for the room fridge so I know it will be protein forward.
Breakfast: 2 ounces turkey breast, hard boiled egg
Snack: Premiere protein shake
Lunch: crab cake, veg
Snack: turkey breast
Dinner: ? some fish or seafood and veg
Exercise: 60 minute run/walk, more walks

Good Morning Insert Fitness and Menu Family!
We are having our family July 4th celebration tonight instead of on the 4th, so I may eat a bite or two of some other foods. I'll try to stay on plan, though.
Accountability: My totals for yesterday: Protein - 61, Calories 1015, Carbs - 100.
QOTD: I have a George Foreman grill for inside the house. I just got a little table top charcoal grill for $1 on our local Dollar Auction! We've used it a few times and it's great for just two people.
Today's Menu:
B: Prosciutto & mozzarella sticks
L: Birdseye Voila sweet & sour chicken
D: hamburger patty w/ melted cheese, some tastes of ?
S: light & fit Greek yogurt
Exercise: Walking Blossom around the subdivision
Have a SUPER day everyone!

Morning RNY'ers!! I'm working today but we get off @ 3PM.
Accountability: Yesterday continued to be hard. My carbs ended up @ 110g, I caved at night and had and 2 almond butter biscuits, that accounted for 1/2 of carb intake for the day. The good part about caving at night is there no time left in the day to say F-it and make the whole day go awry. Since it was a running day for me, I don't think the extra had any impact on me, but I'm not trying to rely on that either.
QOTD: We have a gas grill- not going back to charcoal ever. Hubby even found a company that will come to you door and change out the empty propane take for a full one. Our grill is Weber-- I highly recommend the brand.
197 today, 26 months outs
M1: 2 boiled eggs with 2 turkey sausage links
M2: Greek yogurt, berries,
M3: pear @ work, then something when I get home.
M4: oven fried tilapia

Morning! Monday...blah. Here I sit, at work, managed to fumble through the whole "bath without getting the foot wet" routine, and I am definitely still not awake yet. I get the Fourth of July holiday tomorrow so today feels like a drag.
QOTD: We use gas and it isn't fancy.
Menu: Light & Fit Vanilla with 1/2 a diced peach; L: BBQ Shrimp (I actually brought a tortilla and some cheese out of desperation...nothing in the freezer...but co-worker brought July 4th treat for everyone! Yum); D: Instant Pot Goulash (if I have time to make it before we leave for D&D); S: Chobani Simply 100; ES: No clue...munching at D&D tonight will depend on what the other players bring...I have some pretzels.)
Accountability: As my menu indicates I haven't well planned. Need to get it together but right now I am too tired to worry about it. Weight this morning 127. We were on the go out of town all weekend and I need a good potty time...riding in the car seems to be constipating things. Wish me luck.
