Excited... 10 lbs gone forever!
I woke up to go to the bathroom and decided to weigh for the first time since my one week follow up with the nurse last Friday which I weigh 468. I decided to go ahead and weigh and I weighed 458 pounds which is a 13 pounds lost since surgery June 22nd. I'll take that!!! So excited... and so glad I did this for myself.

Please be careful with the "gone forever" sentiment. It tends to imply this surgery is magic when it is definitely not. I am almost 9 years out and while I am at my goal weight, I will never believe it is "gone forever". I know I have to work hard to keep it off every single day.
Great job and keep up the good work!! You must wake up every day and believe you are worth the effort.
