Morning Menu Family... It has stopped raining for the next few days lots of flooding in our area so we really need this time for local crews to be able to take stock in the damage. Today hubby and I are spending the afternoon with my nieces while my brother and his wife have a little date. While texting with her yesterday I was like what are you going to do lunch and a movie and she goes no I really want to go to Aldi and Old Navy and I was like ok whatever. We were thinking they were going out tonight so now we have the evening free so we might go to the movies or maybe the races again.

QOTD: I am good with pasta being in the house as long as it is not cooked! In all honesty I think one of my biggest trigger foods is an ice cream sandwich or any other form of ice cream novelty treats. I love those things.

Accountability: I did ok last night I did end up having a glass of wine that lasted me three hours and I kept adding ice to it because I hate warm wine so that worked out well. For dinner I ended up having chicken wings.

So a funny NSV from lat night. So I think I have mentioned that my husband is a musician as a side job and the restaurant we went to last night an old friend of his from high school who was also in our wedding was playing. After he was done my husband wanted to go say hello and give him a hug so I went with. We were standing there for a few minutes and him and my husband were chatting and he turns to me and sticks his hand out and introduces himself. I just kind of laughed stuck my hand out and said I'm Penny nice to meet you! He was floored he said that people in there friend group had seen my husband with this new woman and had thought we had quietly gone our separate ways and I was his new lady friend. We had quite a chuckle about it. Still laughing about it this morning. So I guess I do look a lot different but did not think it was that much....

Food for the day:

B: scrambled egg whites and coffee

L: BBQ Burnt ends that my brother made....

D: Don't know yet because I have not clue where I am going to be....

Happy Sunday my friends....

Looking amazing IF! QOTD I have lots of triggers: anything sweet like ice cream, candy or cakes, pasta, bread, and crunchy things like chips or crackers. Each day is a struggle to resist and maintain but as long as I keep plugging along at it it's all good. You all really help me stay accountable and on track daily. Exhausted today as we didn't get cleaned up at the fireworks thing til about 12. It was 1before I got to bed. Lily and I were up at 545 and got our 3.2 miles in. Headed to church and then home to pack for camping. Well be back Wednesday afternoon. Post op 4 years 10 months and weight at 118 today. Here's the food plan for maintenance today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz hot dog 1/2 c green beans D 31/2 oz ribeye 1/2 c corn on the cob S P3 Pak. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices that move you one step closer to your goal!

Morning RNY'ers!! My run is done and I've got no plans today. I so need to read something for work, but in my head I also have Tuesday to do that. Hubby managed to get tickets to the 4th concert on the Ben franklin parkway- and its artists that I like performing so I'm looking forward to that.

Accountabilty: yesterday was HARD. Boredom breeds the desire to eat!! I persevered but it told LOTS of time on this site, instagram and even BP to distract my mind and focus on what I've been working for. So my carb count yesterday was 73 (goal is 55). Not tobad when I consider the damage I could have done had I said F it. Hubby brought home an apple pie-- I wish he didn't but it is the 4th and what more American than apple pie. He's on his own with it though.

Qotd: triggers are sugary drinks, cookies, crackers. I'd lie under oath about how much of those I could/would consume. Savory foods were never a trigger for me- but I'd eat a massive quantity in one sitting.

197.5 today, 26 months out

m1 Greek yogurt, berries, 2 fried eggs w/ cheese

m2 2oz deli turkey, 1oz beef jerky 1oz cheese

m3: 3.5oz bourbon chicken chunks

M4: ? Fish if I get the motivation to make it

Good Morning Insert Fitness and Menu Family!

QOTD: My daughter has a lot of food in the house that I can't eat like cookies and candy, and I'm pretty good at resisting it. I did get a big jar of cheese balls, (similar to cheetos), a while back and they were only 130 calories for 32 cheese balls, so I allowed myself to have some, however pretty soon I was having 64 cheese balls or more per serving! I had no self-control around them and was glad when the jar was gone. I love donuts and cinnamon rolls and such and have steered completely away from those since my surgery.

Accountability: Yesterday. Protein - 70, Calories - 820, Carbs - 69.

Today:

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks

L: Birdseye Voila chicken stir fry

D: lettuce, chicken, 1/2 avocado, low cal dressing

S: Light & Fit Greek yogurt

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks

Exercise: Walking Blossom around the subdivision.

Have a SUPER Sunday everyone!

~ Karen

Good morning :)

We went driving around last night looking at the Canada Day fireworks and then watched more on TV when we got home. So I slept in a bit today. Thankfully the puppies were onboard with that.

Today I'm going to go to a Paint Nite event with my friend. She picked the last painting so I told her this time I wanted to do something blue -- we are doing a flower one (last one was a sunset).

Accountability: I need to get this train back on the tracks because I have given myself too much leeway lately. I had a bite of a fruit tart, a pastry thing, and more Timbits yesterday. Sigh. I hate being wasteful but I might have to throw out the rest of the wedding desserts.

QOTD: chocolate is what I would consider my trigger food and I try to avoid it and not ever buy it if I can. I might buy a couple SF chocolates but it's easier to limit them because of the cost. I used to eat a bag of chocolate covered almonds in a sitting, so I haven't had a single one post-op. Everything else I feel I can manage with a bite here or there. And I can buckle down when motivated.

Breakfast - protein shake

Snack - turkey sausage

Lunch - chicken curry

Snack - egg, yogurt

Dinner - ribs, veg

Snack - protein shake

All water and vits.
