What's on your Sunday menu RNYers?
hello weekenders!
Slow start for me today.
Well Canada day was fun, but a wet one for sure! We were lucky the family party we went to landed perfectly between downpours!
Below are a couple of pics from the day! The pig roast was amazing!
For Today's picnic they are also calling for rain, which is a bummer, but I'm going to go ahead and get organized as though it's going to happen.
accountability: I did great yesterday. The party had tons of wls friendly options. I did struggle with the 5! Different varieties of mac and cheese. I had to remove myself from the area. Then, when I was helping with clean up and I literally picked up a fork to sample them twice. Pasta is a hard no for me. My brain so wanted to switch to autopilot.
qotd: thanks for all the feedback yesterday. It got me thinking. What camp are you in? Do have food triggers? Are you an everything in moderation person?
Im definitely in the triggers camp. Maybe someday they will fade, but it is definitely not the case now. I just know there are certain foods that are out of my life for good.
things that are a hard no for me: crackers/chips/tortilla chips, pasta, ice cream and bread.
Bread, pasta, chips, I can have in the pantry now without issue. Crackers and ice cream though? Nope.
menu:
B: coffee and premiere protein
L: were meeting a bunch of people for brunch at 11 so probably 1 egg with bacon or ham.
D: is our pic nic. If it goes ahead, I'll have a little: sliced salami, Brie, olives, veggies. And berries with some kind of cheesecake/yogurt hybrid with fresh berries. Keeping it pretty simple given the weather.
have a great Sunday!

Nice pictures! You are looking great (and doing well with your self-control)!
I'm going to a cookout today and worried a bit about what will call to me. I'm bringing shrimp as an appetizer so there is something good for me to munch on.
Accountability: 100% on plan yesterday (CAMAW), but no difference on the scale (trying to drop about 1.25 pounds of vacation weight). I think quality bathroom time will help.
QOTD: I DEFINITELY have trigger foods: Donuts, cakes, sweet baked goods in general, breads, chips/dip.
B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese
L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: Shrimp and some other protein at cookout (?)
S: yogurt

Good morning!
Quick post before we head out to do some errands - I seriously went to bed around 7pm last night and got up around 7am this morning. I feel good, not as tired as I was...batteries definitely needed recharging. The scale is slowly moving downward....it's weird, and awesome at the same time. My clothes are fitting better...this morning I had to hook my bra on the smallest size. Yesterday we took a short walk (because it was DISGUSTINGLY humid outside) and my hubby snapped a picture of me with our son to show how tall he was. I was looking at it and boggling at the difference between a picture from last November, and now. I see myself in the mirror daily, but I don't really recognize the difference.
Accountability - still doing great with protein, yesterday was hard to get in fluids...but I managed to hit 64oz, and ended up with 105g of protein.
QOTD: Cheetos....they're the bane of my existence and I don't want them in the house, because I love them and once I start I don't want to stop eating them.
Menu:
B: Syntrax Nectar Protein Drink
S: Chicken Broth
L: Premier Protein Shake
S: Chicken Broth
D: Chocolate Mint Protein Shake w/Fairlife Milk ( I used Shelly's Thin-Mint recipe yesterday and OMG AMAZING...I doctored the sweetness down a little by adding more milk and less torani syrup but wow...it was delicious)
Here's my pictures:

Second taken yesterday on our walk - July 2017
Have a great day all!

The Cheetos comment made me laugh because they are the one snack food I hate and my kids love them so they are allowed in my house.

Thanks!
I bought some of the syrups a few months ago, but our local store didn't carry the one I really wanted which was the peppermint. So far I've added in the SF vanilla, SF salted caramel, SF peppermint, and SF chocolate to my 'make-this-taste-delicious' collection.
