going to try to get back to daily posting
I admit that the first 14 days post-op probably included 5 pints of ice cream. In my defense, I had a SUPER sore throat and mint chocolate ice cream felt sooooo good on it.
But even then, not a lot of calories when the only other thing I was really consuming was protein shakes to keep my protein up. :/
I did have some weird things like oatmeal and mac and cheese post-op, but I'm still finding that solid foods are not so exciting and I can't eat much of them. Even though the surgery did nothing to my stomach organ itself, the muscles around it are definitely tighter so I can't eat as much solid stuff!
