Hey friends. I've found myself pulling away from the boards because I had an issue with a member or two here and decided to step away for a bit to cool off. The truth is that I miss you guys and I miss the support that I get here. I'm recovering from Plastic surgery, but will be heading back to work on the 5th.

I was struggling with my carb intake, but this surgery really helped to reset me, so I've been doing well. Nothing much else going on, but healing up and enjoying the summer.

I hope your healing is going well. Recovering from plastics was tough for me.

Plastic surgery really killed my appetite and I lost 14 pounds during the six week recovery period because I had so little appetite or interest in food.

This is me. I'm 4 weeks post-op tomorrow and I've lost 15 pounds. Probably because most of my diet is protein shakes at the moment.

I'm right there too. I actually forgot to eat yesterday until around lunch time. I've been drinking protein shakes as well.

For me, my metabolism seemed to be in super-high gear post-plastics. I was able to eat well over 3000 calories a day and still lose. Sadly about the 3 month mark it caught up to me and I had to cut back to my usual maintenance calorie count
