Lortab is another name for hydrocodone, so I expect if the lortab made you feel awful the hydrocodone will be a similar result. My incisions get a bit grumpy when I walk, probably from my belly jiggling as I move. I've heard that one of those abdominal supports that you can get when you're pregnant will help with that, so you might consider one of those. Gabapentin is to help with nerve pain - I had never heard of it either but I've been very happy with it.

I don't know if the pain your feeling on your right side is gas but if so the more you can walk around the better. Just take it slow. I had very bad gas pain for several days but it will get better everyday and you'll eventually not even remember how much pain you were in.
