Well i'm tired of all the rain. I was on vacation the last two weeks, the weather didn't cooperate. But I go back Monday, just when the weather is supposed to get better grrr. Oh well. I'm terrible at remembering names, I need to learn a few tricks to help me.
Happy long weekend everyone, Canada 150yrs old.
TGIF, DAISY, and the rest of our Menu Peeps!
Busy day, on my horizon...been up since 4am (usual time, but somehow seemed EARLIER today)...but that's okay, cuz it's FRIDAY...will have 6 Short Peeps, today...but that's okay, cuz it's FRIDAY...no 4 day weekend, for me...but today is still FRIDAY !!
QOTD: I usually can remember names...IF I ever get them straight, in the first place. SPELLING them is my downfall...especially when people put a Y where I think a IE should be, or make a name like Amy into a 5 syllable word...and who knew there were so many different ways to spell Cortny Cortney Kortny Cortni Cortnie Kortnei...sheesh...I'm really hoping my son does NOT get serious, with this girl..I will NEVER have her gift tags spelled correctly...
B: Coffee/Protein shake
S: Greek Yogurt
L: Chicken/Broccoli (baked-leftovers are better than first overs)
D: Going out to steak place--am thinking sirloin and salad
S: Most likely Not-leftovers, from dinner, if needed
W: always working on that gallon-nearly always make it :)
E: Going to outdoor concert. Lots of walking. Not cardio walking, but lots of steps. And dancing. Like no one is watching. THAT kind of dancing
Picture: I think everyone probably has a picture of when they THOUGHT THEY WERE REALLY FAT. Mine was at my 16th birthday party. I probably weighed about 180--about 25 lbs LESS than I do NOW-and I am almost 60. But..c'mon...I was 16..and my friends probably didn't weigh 100 lbs...So, yea, I was a big girl...You'd have thought I would have found bigger friends, to hang with...or at least not worn white stretch pants...

We Can Do Hard Things
I can't believe you watch miniature peeps all the time, that's a lot of work. That in itself should be your exercise for the day.
Yes I too have the one I thought I was fat photos. And face it I was tall in junior high and high school and yes I was overweight but not nearly as big as I thought but my friends also weighed about 100 pounds or 103, so when I heard that it was the same as if I was 400 pounds in my mind

I totally know what you both mean. I joined Weigh****chers for the first time when I was around 19 and weighed 128Lbs and was convinced I was fat, because my friends weighed around 105. WW should have turned me away.

Good morning menu peeps. Another sunny, muggy day here in Illinois but Lily and I have our three plus miles in already. We may do a short walk very late like 10 as I will be gone all evening and all day tomorrow at the food booth our church is having at the 4th celebration. Hubby is the grill master and I'm one of the few who volunteered to help--as usual. In case you can't tell I'm getting very tired of few volunteers and the gossiping majority. QOTD I am terrible with names. Sometime my own is even a struggle. Post op 4 years 10 months and weight at 118 today. Stayed totally on track last night even though the emptation was there. Here's the menu for maintenance today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz deli turkey and cheese 1/2 c green beans D hamburger patty whatever I can eat (probably about 4 ounces S blackberry carb master yogurt and 4 BBQ pork rinds. Have a great day everyone and make some smart and conscious choices that move you one step closer to your goals! Pics are the new camper.
Mine too. It has all the extras:2 tvs, satellite dish, granite countertops, stainless appliances and leather seating areas. Definitely nicer than my House! We used to tent camp when our boys were young but this 57 year old now bony butt is not sleeping on cots anymore. This is perfect for hubby and Lily and I.
