RNY revision
I'm almost 4 years rny post op. Since about 3 years out I've had a lot of trouble with heartburn, painful ulcers, and all of the like. We have tried all types of things to heal the ulcers and nothing has helped so they decided on surgery. This past Tuesday I had a revision, and vagatomy and I tell you what, i don't remember it being this rough the first time around! I feel brand new to this and as if I've never gone through this before. I'm so cautious and worried if I'm doing everything right. I know they did the revision to remove the ulcers but does a revision typically consist of making the pouch smaller or do they bypass more of the intestines also or? Just curious as to others experiences. Thanks!
