Dazzle me with your favourite post op meals
Out tastes change apparently after surgery. I loved coffee before my RNY, but it was almost 2 years after before I could drink it again. I loved coke and hated Pepsi, now that is reversed. Any liquid food that was hot or warm made me gag....like soup. Of course now, 11 years post-op, a lot of that has changed. I can finally eat fried chicken again...LOL
Ya gotta have more cowbell!!
I eat a lot of freshly prepared stuff, but Costco and Trader Joe (as others have said, so I won't repeat) have some great stuff to just have for a change of pace. Last week I had some Chicken Fajita's from Frontera Grill (no tortilla). Tonight I'm having a chicken burger with Gouda. They also have a Mediterranean Chicken Skewer that is great. It's a nice variety when I get tired of Salmon grilled on the bbq or rotisserie chicken.... I watch my sodium and keep it under 2,000 grams a day and the food is on or better than profile (no less than 10g of protein per 100 cals - most as good as a basic piece of chicken with a little sauce). Check it out.

Sadly Trader Joes is only in the US. We do have Costco but we don't seem to have the same selection.
Also sadly I also don't like fish or beans. Like strongly averse to.

Not sure where you are in Canada but in Ottawa Costco they have Janet and Greta ( from Looney Spoons Cookbook Fame) chicken burgers which are really tasty. The also carry Connie's Kitchen Spinach and Feta Turkey Sausages. Both are good options.

Spaghetti squash casserole. Roast the spaghetti squash (see pinterst as this can be done in micro or regular oven), cool for about 10 mins or so then scrape with a fork and place the shreds in 13x9 dish. Top with Alfredo sauce, chicken (grilled, shredded or even canned) and mozzerlla cheese then bake at around 350-375 for about 30 mins or until cheese is all melty and gooey. I eat off it for a few days then freeze the rest in individual portions.
Also, pop on to the what's on your menu thread as there are always good ideas out there :)
I do pop into the what we are eating thread (here and the ontario one) but often it is still same old same old staples.
I was hoping for people to list their favorites. :D :D
I love alfredo so will try this one. Sadly many of the options are kinda mexican flavours. Would have to play around with spices as I don't typically like mexican spicing (even the non spicy kinds)

Right now I'm really into Al Fresco chicken sausages. I also love sautéed shrimp. Turkey pepperoni is a good snack. I also like to cook ground turkey, mix with taco seasoning, a can of rotel, and top with cheese. My husband makes it into tacos but I eat the meat. Another easy recipe is one night buy a rotisserie chicken and eat that. The next day put the leftovers in the crock pot with a jar of salsa and taco seasoning and simmer. Super moist and delicious. Again it can be used as a taco filling or on it's own.

Not sure what kind of foods you like (except apparently fish, beans and mexican are not your thing). But here are a few I love:
Nasi Goreng with Zucchini Rice
Balsamic Glazed Caprese Chicken
Caprese Stuffed Garlic Butter Portobellos
Pho (I add .5lbs Sirloin and use Beef Broth)
These are some of my favorites. I left out any of my faves that have seafood, beans or are mexican seasoned.
