Hello Menu Crew! Muggy, rainy and generally blah here! But one day to the weekend, yes! Photo Friday will be open topic, post whatever you want! My iPhone died yesterday! I have an almost 4 year old iPhone 5s. It won't charge or turn on, nothing. I had a brand new battery put in less than a year ago and its acting up again so I just said the hell with it and ordered a new iPhone 6s, yay a new toy LOL
Accountability: ate exactly my menu yesterday, another win! I was totally satisfied with my chicken breast for dinner, it filled me up and I didn't fully finish my yogurt & berries. Dense protein for the win!
QOTD: Tell me something one of your coworkers/colleagues does that drives you insane. I have many coworkers that drive me insane but the one that comes to the forefront of my mind is there is this older lady, she is such a ***** and I can't stand her. But she wears flip flops at work. FLIP FLOPS! I work in a hospital for crying out loud. OMG the germs, the fact that she flips & flops all over the hospital without a care in the world makes my skin crawl. She might as well walk around in bare feet. We even have a Dress Code at work that bans open toe shoes but this indulgent ***** clearly thinks she is above the rules. Hope she gets a used needle stuck in her toe one of these days!

B: decaf & 2 vanilla PP
L: tandoori chicken skewer take out + hot sauce
S: 1.5 oz pepperjack cheese
D: 4.5 oz of grilled chicken breast + A1 sauce
S: skry yogurt + fresh raspberries + bran buds
TOTALS: 903 calories, 124 protein, 34 carbs
V: patches are on
L: 120oz a day
E: supposed to be raining tonight so may just hit the gym for a class or treadmill run and if not raining take the dogs out in the evening for a brisk walk

Happy Thursday! I am off starting tomorrow for a FIVE day weekend. I will be busy--leaving town for an out of state wedding, but I am happy for the time off. Big news! We are adopting two beautiful little kittens, and might be able to bring them home tonight! Here are our babies (Fezzik and Inigo):
Yay for a new iPhone! I have the 6S and I am hoping to hold out for the 8 when it is released this fall. But I barely hold a charge off of the power cord, so I hope it lasts until the new one is released.
Accountability: Did great at work, but came home and added 2 snacks. Also, I didn't run. The achilles is aching again :( I guess it's not ready for running, so I will go for a long walk today.
QOTD: I have a unique situation in that I work in 7 different offices with a different assortment of people every day. I almost never see the same people repeatedly, so I don't get a chance to get annoyed the the little habits that drive people nuts. I do, however, work with just one person whose voice makes me twitch. She has an annoying know-it-all personality with a high pitched baby voice which makes me want to throat punch her. She recently gave her notice and I think tomorrow is her last day :)
I am working for home today, and I am going to take the opportunity to stick to shakes as a sort of detox day. It's not about hunger, I just feel like I might feel better by sticking to liquids and getting 10000000% hydrated today.
EDIT: I AM AN IDIOT. FORGOT ABOUT A CAN'T-MISS MEETING. GOING IN TO THE OFFICE... :(
Believe it or not, I was actually wondering when you were going to get Grim talked into adopting a cat, since I remember you saying once (quite awhile ago) that you love them. Now two!! And kittens to boot!! They are *adorable*!!
I know what you mean about those shake days. There are some days that all I want to eat (and drink) are protein shakes and Greek yogurt. Easy on my pouch and good hydration.
