Hello Everyone

Glad you're feeling a bit better Daisy! This weekend is a long one for our family too. My daughter, son and his girlfriend will all be here from Friday through Thursday and I'm really looking forward to it.

Accountability: yesterday I stuck with my food plan, but, i was really tired from not sleeping well the night before so when I had to travel to and from Boston yesterday I was having difficulty keeping alert so I stopped and got one of the big containers of sugar free gum. I began to chew it and it really triggered something and I couldn't stop chewing more and more gum until it was completely gone! I've been chewing gum a bit recently but not the kind with the crunchy candy coating. Wow what a trigger. I will NEVER buy that again. So carbs and calories for yesterday were through the roof and that's the first I've since surgery. If there is a bright side, I must have been ridiculously backed up and didn't know it let's just say I'm staying close to home today and I may reach goal by the afternoon! But lesson learned.

QOTD: I have a thick cream colored towel I love and now it even wraps around me.

B: decaf with pp and torani, egg with goat cheese and turkey pepperoni

L: grilled chicken tender with mustard in a romaine lettuce leaf

D: chicken sausage in tomato sauce with spaghetti squash

S: iced decaf, almond mild and torani, babybel and turkey

Good Morning Menu Friends:

I keep thinking that there should be a way to make grated cauliflower into a grits like consistency... I love grits!!! like LOVE LOVE LOVE them.

justsayin

butter with salt and a little pepper is best but occasionally I'll eat them sweet.

I saw a recipe for that on Pinterest ( grits using cauliflower) I have not tried it but thought it looked really good.
