technically it's my towel, but we both love it and as I'm only up there on weekends it kinda makes sense to have it ready for her in her bathroom. Why not buy two you ask? because it was 70% when I got it and I refuse to spend $35 on a freaking towel LOL!

Good morning seems an exaggeration. Let's just go with morning. Last night my 16yo asked to go to a movie at around 6pm. I said sure. He wasn't answering his phone and wasn't home by 11pm...and still not answering or home by midnight. I was losing my mind. Turned out he went to the 10pm showing...umm not ok. I was a mess. Worry is an Olympic sport for me. I sent the other kids to the movie theater where they confirmed that the car he rode in was still parked in front of the movies. This calmed me some but not really. It was all I could do not to storm into the theater and start checking seats. I tell ya... kids... they have given me every grey hair I have.

It gets better though! Half past midnight when he finally texts me back he was sassy! He said, "You could have checked the show times online mother." Wwwwhhhhaaaaa?!?!?! Not "I'm sorry mom" or "I didn't mean to worry you" or "I'm an insensitive teenager and someday I will have kids and I will remember this day and think fondly of how hard you worked to raise me in a world full of danger and challenges! You are the best mom in the whole world!" Nope. Not anything close. Just..."you should have checked the show times, mother" with an eye roll to boot. I was not pleased.

By the time he got home and I hugged him enough to calm my worry it was almost 2am so today I am exhausted. My foot is throbbing and there is not enough coffee in the world. I love my kids... sigh

Menu: Nothing exciting... Greek yogurt, taco meat and cheese for lunch, and left over bean-free chili for dinner.

Accountability: Last night I added oatmeal and some popcorn. No clue what I weigh this morning because of the whole sleepy bath routine and wearing a boot post surgery. I will check tonight and hope for the best. I didn't take any pain meds last night and my bowels seem to be moving better. Hoping to feel normal again soon.

QOTD: I don't have a towel preference. We have a set of grey towels that are in rotation in our bathroom... they are all the same. I do however really really hate it when my Guy wipes his hands on my towel. I hang mine on a hook on the back of the door and if he musses it I pout and get a new towel. MINE! lol

Good morning all!! Glad to hear you and Amy are feeling better! I'm doing really well actually. It's funny, lately everyone is asking how I feel since losing weight and honestly, physically I feel awesome. I have energy to go, go, go and not be tired. I keep thinking in my head oh, I'm going to be wiped out after all this or that and I'm not. 110 pounds has made a huge difference and I'm excited to see how much more I can do in the future.

Happy early Birthday Canada! I do get July 4th off, and since it's a Tuesday, I took Monday the 3rd off so I have a 4 day weekend. We are hoping to go sailing with my sister and BIL this weekend. July 4th we are going to lay low and BBQ at our house. We watch the fireworks that go off literally everywhere around us and set off some of our own with our neighbors.

Accountability - I did really well yesterday, ended up changing my lunch from tuna to tri tip, but that is it.

QOTD - I do have favorite towels... I love a big bath sheet towel, probably because I was so big for so long but even they didn't fit around me then. Now it wraps so far around me that I love them even more! We have tons of towels, and in several colors, but my favorites are the white fluffy big bath sheets towels.

7 mo post op - 199.3! YES I've made it to onederland!

Haha, I know, I know I will take care of it!

Funny - what I noticed was that the rug and the scale were crooked and I should have straightened them!
